The best player we can get at any position on either side of the ball, then WR,OL,DE,S,CB. Depth at OL would be my #1 concern. Hey, when it gets down to it, six ballers works for me, wherever they line up.

With the season ending (?) injuries to the rest of our pitching staff, I think we will only have two pitchers, Ashley and Skylar, for the rest of the season. Coach did a great job finding replacements after Hope transferred. The future looks very bright for this young team. Nice sweep of UTEP.

One of interesting matchups in the Virginia game will be Ousmane (6'10" - 230) and Francisco Caffaro (7'1" - 245). In four of the last five games Abou has been called for 4 fouls and had to spend some extra time off of the floor. Ousmane is going to have to show some maturity as Caffaro can get rough under the bucket. No emotional fouls. We don't need our guy on the floor for only 15 minutes like the second UTEP game. Ousmane will need to score at least his 10 point average. Play tough, but be cool. Fly Like An Eagle!

Well we'll sure have to be in the five year $10 to $20 mil range I would think to be anywhere close to being in the top 25 paid basketball coaches. Because he certainly is in the top 25 basketball coaches in the nation.

1970 - Joe Hamilton. "The Pit" was packed for every game. 4,500, 4,700, 5,000. Elbow to elbow and we loved every minute of every game! North Texas was 18-8 (9-5 in the MVC good for 3rd place) that year even with a three-game stretch where 4 of the five starters were injured (lost all three games) and our tallest starter was ineligible to play in the spring semester. The team used speed, a brutal defense which included the “karate press’, and “the worst crowd in the nation” – Coach Maury John, Drake to post their best record in many a year. Joe average 22.3 ppg and two-sport guy, Crest Whitaker averaged 17.3. Mean Green Maniacs? Amateurs! The gauntlet has been tossed. Let's hear your best tomorrow night! GoMeanGreen!
