I'd be interested to see how more nimble platforms like YouTube, Facebook, or Twitter would be able to fill the impending void. Conference level streaming agreements with online focused platforms wouldn't bring in the same levels of revenue, but I think its fair to assume it'd be more stable and would fit more in line with the current trends in cord cutting. This is all going to hit around the time of the next round of realignment. I'm worried about the implications to the G5

A quality opponent on the road, and it's their homecoming game. In past years, we know how this would have turned out. In New Denton, and with this new team, nobody is really sure. If the FAU game is any indication, it won't be pretty. I hope they can prove that their last road game was an aberration.

This really isn't rocket science y'all. Ask most current students why they don't go to games, and they'll immediately blurt out "because we suck." Undoubtedly the result of a decade plus of ineptitude broken up by one or two token good seasons. It's going to take a lot of winning, over a long period of time to change that perception. Also hard to underestimate the impact of playing a nothing school like ODU 1 winning season over the past decade and we're expecting to sell out stadiums... Get real

I can't help but pity the fools over at Rowdy Talk. They had so much hope. So much promise. They were next level delusional, thinking they could go undefeated after beating, well... Nobody. There's still hope for them though. Maybe some of those guys can apply to transfer to Austin after they retake Fundamentals of Computer Typing for the fourth consecutive semester. Agree. TCU, A&M, UT, and Tech are pretty much up there by default. It would take a huge shift to ever knock them off that pedestal. Put all of those schools in the C-USA and they'd destroy the competition. Everyone else is scrapping for positions 5-12. If we had beaten SMU, 5th would be fair.
