88.1 cannot air certain advertisements as well since they are a non-profit station, and the men's games and football carry those kinds of advertising.

The two scoreboards on either end of the arena really could stand to be replaced. The question really is when will they? Or maybe if they'll be replaced? I believe they are at least 20 years old.

Putting in more Loge seats means taking out existing seats, even if those seats bring in more revenue ... for the athletic department. The university has always balked at making changes to the SP that involves reducing the overall capacity since the SP is a big player in graduation ceremonies.

NT had to win and LaTech had to lose; LaTech won big. Came in second.

My complaint is the lack of consistency in their calls. A call on one end isn't a call on the other end. Hard fouls aren't called but minor touch fouls are.

Wren wants more Loge seats. Getting them is a different story and the problem isn't related to cost.

There's a waiting list for Floor and Loge seats, so there is that.

Giving up on suites is giving up on major source of (new) income. Let's say we were to add 10 suites. At $25k each that brings in $250k in guaranteed revenue every year. Let's say each suite seats 12 individuals. You could charge $750 for each season ticket (for both MBB and WBB), that brings in another $90,000 (max). That money could then go to help paying for your (MBB) coaching salary. This would help offset an expectation that regular season ticket holders, single game tickets, and GA tickets don't go up as much to help pay for the increasing coaching salaries we will inevitably face with our move to the American Conference. We're sitting here, talking about paying Mac his money for taking this team to a level not seen by most fans, we better be ready to open that wallet as that money to come from somewhere.

The SP on the outside looks good but we're at a point where we can't do much more than cosmetic enhancements without a significant amount of money being dumped into an almost 50 year old facility.

Several of the remaining sports are hosted by the departing schools. Is CUSA contractually required to honor that if these schools are bailing on the conference early? Baseball - Southern Miss Men's Tennis - Old Dominion

Bringing the SP up to current ADA standards would be very expensive. The bottom level is completely ADA non-compliant.
