  1. Naw. We are about even with UTRGV at this point. It was a good measuring point. We win if our guys understand how to attack a zone. Too much standing around
  2. It was a game they should win and they did. Didn't matter how. They impressed at times and then there were the sloppy moments. UT Rio Grande Valley should be a good measuring point for this team.
  3. That is fair critique. To be honest with you that dude prefers that too. He’d like to tell you what they run on defense what they run on offense. Is it motion or dribble drive motion perhaps more set plays with motion principles or even a flex. He’d like to tell you where on the floor the opposing team likes to get the ball. Where do they pick you in man. What’s their go to scoring play. How’s their pace? What’s their substitution pattern. If that guy got paid like Vito to do these you’d get a lot more. But he doesn’t. I’ll pass a long your thoughts.
  4. I’d put that guys basketball knowledge up against most. It doesn’t read like an elaborate celebration. I mean we did attack BC with a lot of one ball screens from the bigs tonight. How would you like to see a preview? You looking for a scouting report style? Instead of an overview?
  5. It’s gotta be a Nebraska fan or UTSA fan
  6. I gotta stop posting stuff. Some dude likes to downvote everything I post lol.

  8. And that’s no knock on Woolridge. I view Woolridge as an opportunity defender. He anticipates really well and has quick hands. I viewed Gibson as an in your grill defender. The type that doesn’t give you space. Always attacking you. Both guys are quick. Gibson probably had quicker feet could move laterally faster, but he isn’t faster than Woolridge with the ball in his hands. In fact I don’t think there are many guys in the country who can get up the floor faster than Woolridge when handling the ball. Either way we will miss Gibson’s scoring a lot, but may miss his ball handling more.
  9. Only halfway confused. Woolridge is the quickest, but Gibson was the best on/ball defender
  10. Sure every program wants to go for these type of coaches, not many land them. So they may want Jimbo, but its more likely they end up with a guy like Morris.
  11. Bethune Cookman lost to UT Rio Grande Valley 92-74. We play Rio Grande Valley after Cookman
  12. He had to keep Temara out there at times for size. Temara had a couple of miscues on rotations that led to easy buckets.
  13. Lawson is a rim attacking ball handler, but hasn’t been that explosive this year if Gibson is hurt they may move Lawson to the 3 and play Allante At the 4 and Smart at the 2
  14. He was helped off and the broadcast described his ankle as just dangling there
  15. Work in progress. 2nd half was better. Pleased with effort.
  16. Effort has been there execution has not. Side note how do you get a lane violation with Draper at the line?
  17. A lot of non fouls being called on North Texas
  18. This game ain’t over. Nebraska is getting all the breaks. I want to see if these guys lay down or keep battling. I think we can learn something in the 2nd half
  19. I think that would happen. He’s a midwestern guy. Somewhere like Buffalo or Ball St. seems more likely. If he gets a job.
  20. I won’t thank him for anything. He left this program in a bad state. He didn’t leave us in any position to compete in the conf. GMac has had to rebuild this program from the ground up.

  22. OU is probably our toughest game. Georgetown and Nebraska are winnable like you mentioned. Probably not as winnable as you think, but still there. Its tough to predict how well NT will gel. Indiana St is rated a lot higher than NT right now, but I think a lot of people are underrating us. They are predicted to finish 7th out of 10 in the MVC. Which is a mucher tougher conf than CUSA.
