I see him and think PJ Tucker

He has been battling that hip injury for awhile and has pretty much been a game time decision the past 3 games. If you start Duffy then you move Smart to the 3 and that faces him up with some longer guys. Something he has struggled with this year. Not knocking your idea, because I like shooters surrounding Woolridge. I just think its a tough sell to put Smart at 3. Situational yes, I could see that. Starting not so much.

I'll take plenty of down votes with this, but I don't think Simmons will be special. He may develop into a good starter, but he wont be an all conf type of player. Right now I prefer to Tope to be the starter and Zach to come off the bench. They both give you about the same production per 40 mins. Tope is a little bit more aggressive, stronger, and actually can play with his back to the basket. Im not saying that Zach isnt good or wont be good. I just feel he has a lot to work on to begin to sniff special.

You really think it’s a white thing? Those of saying Manvel is loaded is bc of the amount of guys they have that will play FBS or FCS level football. HP had no where near the talent that Manvel had. Pretty much anyone following txfb would tell you that

Yeah I disagree. You say it’s not even close. I don’t know how you could say that. That an absurd statement. I’m not knocking Martin he’s got some upside but both QBs are good. Martin had the way better weapons and the better team by far. HP had no business being in that game.

Manvel has one of the greatest teams I’ve ever seen. The amount of talent they have is unbelievable. I’m very surprised Jerry’s grandson has kept it this close. Manvel should be up by more than 20

You’re right no matter how open guys are you still have to get em the ball. Crazy how many more yards he’d have if not for some drops and some throws where he wasn’t even in the same zip code. Not sure how you miss these guys

Yeah they are shorthanded, but I guess the view here is the bigger picture. They could use the outside shooting help. They must feel good with what they have, and want to develop him. They have a solid rotation right now. Tope is finally getting adjusted and providing production. Duffy is set to return tonight. They've got a nice team with good chemistry.

Duffy is going to try to go for this game, he just started practicing again. Georgetown is looking more likely.

If Simmons took an outside shot I’d imagine he’d be running laps during the game. Simmons showed some mental toughness. He wiffed on a big block out down the stretch but made up for it with the game sealing block
