No disrespect. I like Houston. I recently moved to DFW after being out of this area a long time. I could have moved anywhere in the US but chose here for a reason and will definitely call BS when I hear it from a kid who couldn't cut being away from home.

1. DFW is nicer than Houston. Houston is nice but falls short. 2. We beat Houston 2-1 in soccer recently and our girls team has better looking players. 3. The Texans are doing well but haven't won a championship. I wish them well. I root for any Texas teams but A&M when playing anyone else but UNT or the Cowboys. 4. I will root for Houston when they aren't playing UNT. 5. Comparing DFW vs Houston in sports is laughable. Cowboys, Mavericks, Stars, Rangers, FC Dallas, TCU, SMU, UNT (we have a basketball team), Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders (had throw that in) versus Texans, Astros, Rockets, Houston, and Rice Seriously?

The Texans look really good. Hopefully they can make a run at the Superbowl.

Give it time? Seriously? I have been hearing that BS since we went back to Division 1. The situation we are in is embarrassing. We are losing the support of people that have been fans for a long time. A couple of my friends already cancelled their trips for Homecoming weekend because it's depressing and repetitive. Can you really blame someone for not coming in town, spending money, only to feel like crap? We will win a few more, probably lose more than we win, and the season will fizzle out again. This cycle of failure truly sad. I will keep watching and being upset with UNT and the Cowboys.

Whatever the problem is even I am tired of this nonsense. Our team has a losing tradition and its quite frankly embarrassing. I don't think I have the stomach to watch anymore this season. Every year without fail everyone says it looks like a bright future. Every year we start the season with serious ass beatings at the hands of teams we have no business playing followed by embarrassing losses to crap teams like Troy. Now everyone is going to wonder why there is no one in the stands for the next game. This is far too frustrating. This program is a punchline. Other schools have gone from no program to winning seasons in the time that we are still talking about the good ole days of appearing in a bowl game. I wish I knew what the answer was because this situation is really sad. At least we have basketball season soon and a good soccer team. The 2012 football season is a wash as usual.

He got the team in scoring position several times. If the field goals were made, we would have won. Yes, Thompson had a few bad passes but it happens. Did he pull his weight, I believe he did. There is no excuse for the kicking game. It was pathetic.

There is no excuse. He has one job and he is failing at it. It is time to let someone else do the job. We would be 2-2 if he did his job. The other guys are doing their part.

I think the D played lights out awesome football. The kickers were the worst I have ever seen at any level of football and I was a long snapper at UNT who pays attention to that aspect of the game more than most. The snaps, holds, and blocking were fine. Special teams is a third of a game and we sucked tonight and last weekend for that matter. For goodness sake run a kickoff out or a punt. Our QB is more on or off than anything I have ever seen, and I am a Cowboys fan. I am shocked.

You can you use all the stats and contingency match ups you want. If you want to use that logic, we are better than last year and beat you guys at home with a less than .500 team in the last game. 4 and 5 year old stats are pretty meaningless. Actually, most stats are meaningless unless its fantasy football. This is the last time we will see you guys for a while and it will be fun to watch. Additionally, you can't give any QB time to throw. Not just your guy. I hope y'all do really well this season after Saturday!
