  1. I had the same problem with SIXTY FOUR tickets...had to drive to Denton from Dallas to get em....bummer
  2. I hate not rooting for a conference mate but the blue raiders are not representing with any class at all
  3. Very true...but it's our obligation to acknowledge these efforts and show up.
  4. You know that's different Arlo. CUSA is not AQ.
  5. I believe it's part of the deal for the "B1G" (or those taking that spot) team per HoD agreement with the conference to be home team. Typical I believe of these sorts of lesser conference vs AQ relationships at bowls.
  6. Folks, The recent government shutdown caused 10 truckloads of food to the North Texas Food Bank to be canceled. That's 300,000+ meals taken out of hungry bellies in our area. I run a printing/screen printing business with 2 other NT alumni. We decided we'd take the opportunity to print some shirts to help raise funds for the Food Bank. For every shirt sold, we are able to feed FIFTEEN people. The shirts are $10.00 ea. Please buy a shirt today - and buy more as gifts for friends and family! www.dfwhope.com Facebook Page www.fbsprint.com
  7. Or a dolphin with a helmet on with a dolphin with a helmet on with a dolphin with a helmet on...... (I know the real dolphin had an "M" on its helmet but it should've been my way)
  8. Unfortunately I have a wedding to attend in Allen this eve. Anybody aware of a watching party in the area? Tried Down Under Pub but it sounds like they won't have the channel...
  9. If you can hold out til UTSA my crew will have a solid experience setup. Pulled pork, TV, late November weather, early kickoff. We'd love to have you if it works out. Will be glorious.
  10. www.fbsprint.com UNT alumni owned print/screenprint company. We won't overstep the athletic dept but would love to help any NT folks looking for printing or screen printing. Especially if we'll see you wearing it in Athens, GA this yr. I hope the flying worm becomes a recognized and installed figure going fwd. Its just our heritage, man. http://www.inc.com/profile/fbs (inc 500 fastest growing companies)
  11. Agreed. Not sure what the current Greek pop. is on campus but it's thousands of kids....all walks of life, all tastes, convictions, etc are well represented. They're very visible organizations and easy to criticize...but that's just it, at least they're visible. Even if they leave early, at least they're showing up. Winning will keep them in the seats. Not all kids have the unrelenting passion those of us have...think of them as swing states, they're the ones you wanna convince. It's no secret that Greeks have some embarrassing reputations, and many are well deserved. But many Greeks have also been some of the best travelers and supporters I've seen since I was on campus. They do a ton of good in the community too btw.
  12. Greeks are constantly out supporting NT athletics. There are often times late in the football season when some stay behind at the tailgate while other Greeks go into the game - but at least they're at the stadium. No one is perfect, but no one is all bad. Believe me, Greeks want to see NT have success just as much, if not more, than any other undergraduate demographic. We've all got the same goals here and this kid is just having fun and wouldn't be posting to this board if he didn't care a great deal about our dear MG. -Greek Alum '09 EDIT - forgot to mention for the record though that Tebowing is bunk
