Judging by the fact that he wore his jacket the whole time, my guess is his head was cold. Mine was too. If you've attended the other six games at this same 40 foot distance, you would have seen this exact same thing happening as a pattern. I don't have a strong preference either way in terms of the skill on the field, but it's night and day their attitude, and how they support the rest of the team, and to me that is a strong tie breaker.

He has a terrible attitude on the sidelines unless he's in, so my guess is there's some bigger issue there. Watch Aune when he's #2. Helmet on, always staying warm, in the group huddle when the whole offense is talking between drives. Watch Bean when he's #2. Helmet off, other side of the field away from the rest of the team, hanging out in the back when the offense is on the field, sagged shoulders when the offense scores a touchdown.

Take Bean's play out of the equation, I'm done with him because of the boo boo face he puts on every time he gets benched. On that touchdown play that just happened, he went moping back to the bench as soon as it happened, and sat down as every other player was celebrating.

I don't believe there are any pre-snap reads going on when Bean is in. You can just tell by where he is looking that there is no defensive evaluation happening at the line.

I definitely noticed this too, and I also noticed at least one time where the referee gave the defense time to substitute, even though the offense didn't make a substitution.

I noticed several situations where the clock did not stop on a first down, similar to the time that got caught when the clock expired. I also noticed several times where after the ball was reset on first down, the clock was never restarted like it should be.
