Yep..got 'em. Got an email from the ticket office Friday before Saturday's game that the SMU tickets were available for pick-up before Saturday's game...super easy. Aren't you still on campus? Drop by and pick your tickets up at the ticket office. But, fair warning...call ahead.

Well, after three "warm-up" games against the "sisters of the poor" getting to play a decent opponent shows there is work to do. Might want to think about "upping the level" of competition in those "tune-up" games. If you watched those three early games, you could see "issues", but Hedlund knows how to correct most of those "issues" and I expect we will see some adjustments and a different level of play in the next few games heading into conference play. Team is pretty young...going to be some bumps in the road.

That "other ring" being on the student side...leaving the Alumni side to pretty much sit and wait I guess. Not hanging around for it this time if it works the same way. We'll see...won't take long to figure out.

I actually stayed in my seat and watched half-time for the first time in quite a few games. I thought the GB was MUCH improved. Their marching lines were much straighter and they sounded louder and seemed to have more enthusiasm. Plus, they actually moved around a bit...yes, I realize that is difficult for such a large band. But, all in all, a much improved half-time experience for me. I do hope that "it is just the beginning" of the return of the greatness that was once the Green Brigade. Well done game 1 GB!

They tried this once before...last year or year before. I sit on the Alumni side and waited and waited and waited and waited after the game for them to set up the ring...finally just left. There has to be a way to set that thing up faster...

Really? My bad...thought in the original reporting it was mentioned that, while the optics are bad, there is no law against such things in Oklahoma. Perhaps Oklahoma does not consider it "animal cruelty". Don't recall Kari being prosecuted for "animal cruelty" in Oklahoma. Was he?

Unfortunately, it is an opinion piece. No research or "other side" opinions or comments necessary. Simply a hit piece against a fellow student. And, it created a session on the 6:00pm news as well. So, TV picked it up...I saw it. Ridiculous to bring all that stuff back up.

Believe this happened in Oklahoma. However, Oklahoma has no state law against such activity. I also believe that Kari simply filmed the activity of others. While I question why he was even there in the first place, the hit piece by this opinion writer is ridiculous!

Not a sports article...an opinion piece. But, a ridiculous hit piece against a fellow student. Shameful in my opinion and the article reeks of bias and a lack of knowledge regarding how captains are selected, etc., etc.

Sunday 1pm...very hot and humid. Plus, the sun hits the stands pretty early in the afternoon. I was there, but high enough up to be able to stay in the shade. Games in that new stadium will be a tad sunny and warm...even the 7pm ones until later in September. Don't know...but could have been a factor. Plus...not as many students at the second game...weekend I guess or just getting ready for classes Monday...
