Just a final PSA...our Kickball event will be played tomorrow, April 20th, beginning at 11:00am on the PEB field (not Lovelace Stadium). The PEB field is located at the corner of NTX Blvd and Chestnut St (parking across the street at Fouts Field). No seating available, so bring a lawn chair or two. Going to be fun...going to have some great brisket available, along with other concession items, some super silent auction items and a 50/50 drawing. Come on out..play, watch, snack, bid on some great items. Gonna be fun...great weather too! 👍👍

APRIL 20th - SATURDAY - 11:00am Start - PEB FIELD! It's On! OK...We are back on! We will be playing the Spirit Kickball Classic next Saturday, April 20th, on the PEB Field at UNT. Same start time as originally planned...11:00AM. For those not sure where the PEB Field is located it is at NORTH TEXAS BLVD and Chestnut St. You can park in Fouts and just cross the street to the field. It is that big open field across from the Rec Center. So...no stands, so bring a lawn/sports type chair for your use if you are playing and/or watching. If you have extras...sure bring them along...we could use them. We will set the silent auction up on tables as well as the concession stand. If you have already signed up to play...you are "good to go"...no need to re-register. OUR KICKBALL CLASSIC BENEFITING OUR UNT SPIRIT SQUADS HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO THE POSSIBLE HEAVY RAINS ON SATURDAY! WE WILL NOT PLAY THIS WEEKEND...SATURDAY OR SUNDAY. Our scheduled "rain day" of Sunday is now out as facilities has decided to cover the softball field to protect it from possible heavy rains Saturday and will not uncover it until Monday. So, we now look for an alternative date. The event is still on...just will be on a different date and perhaps at a different field as well. I will post here as soon as we know the details. Very sorry, but we can't fight Mother Nature on this one. Please spread the word so others will know of the postponement.

WELL...WE ARE OFFICIALLY POSTPONED! We are currently working on a make-up date. We will NOT play this Saturday OR Sunday. Why not Sunday? Well, facilities is going to cover the softball field due to this Saturday's pending rains and will not uncover it until Monday. So...no can play this weekend. Sooooo...we are now having to look for an alternate date and perhaps an alternate playing field as well. You can't fight Mother Nature I guess, and this is Texas in the spring. Please spread the word of the postponement so we don't miss anyone. Will be back with you on the new date as soon as we have it. Sorry folks, but the weather just is not cooperating.

OK...weather watch is on! Current forecast calling for 90-100% chance of rain and high temp between 55-60 degrees. We will make the call tomorrow morning (Wednesday, April 10th) and let you know. If we do have to scrub Saturday (13th) due to potential bad weather, our make-up day is the next day, Sunday April 14th. We will play at the same place and time...11am at Loveless Stadium (UNT Softball Field). Will update everyone tomorrow morning. Keeping fingers and toes all crossed. 🤷‍♂️

Yes...several came. Had a good time cheering on the Lady Mean Green. Opened up a nice lead early, but, alas, App St took control with their “bigs”. Great season for the ladies. Those that came had a good time ... and some good beer.
