Remember. SL and GH said they looked at film of all of Fine’s games not just highlight films.

It was so long ago, I had almost forgotten; however, degrees from North Texas are always worth bragging about humbly or otherwise.

I don’t have any bad memories of Fouts even with the losses. I saw my beloved Eagles and then Mean Green play. I got to see among others Art Perkins, Bobby Smith, Joe Greene, Cedric Hardiman, and etc. I saw Odus Mitchell and the best band . I don’t care about it’s shortcomings, I will never say anything bad about Fouts. I forgot. It was also the site of my master’s and doctoral graduations.

You do realize if he goes somewhere else and is not successful, it reflects on our coaches ability to evaluate talent.

We have fallen to 110 out of 130 on the USA Today ranking. A big fall from where we started the year. We have one last chance to move up. I had really hoped the days of 100 plus rankings were behind us. It also means we will start next year with a very low ranking (low meaning not good). All of our momentum in the eyes of the football world has died and gone in reverse.

Hard to blame all of this on the defense. -
Did Addaway get any touches?

Just listening to a Little Rock station. SL’s name has come up, but the record this year is working against him. Mike Leach is getting a ton of support.

Wonder what Moriss’s son does. He was committed to Arkansas. I think Jefferson, true fresh, is probably the best prospect for future quarterback for the hogs.

Years ago we had a student worker who had long unkempt hair. Several warned him about the effect on employers. His response was it was his right to wear his hair anyway he wanted. We agreed, and pointed out the employer had the same right not to hire him because of it. Your right to a tat or piercing does not negate others rights to be turned off by them.

Could he be the answer to our fourth and one problems?

I want to win, but this new rules provides an opportunity to play some redshirts without burning. We could look at some defensive guys. I would really like to see Addaway carry a few times.

Listening to the broadcast while at Apogee

I am in Arkansas. In the past I have listened to games on KNTU, but this year they do not carry the game. Very disappointing. -
According to people here in Arkansas, Morris really wanted Beuchelle but wound up with Starkel.

I paid $50 tuition and a $25 student activity fee per semester for a full load. I am sitting here with my used Botany book I bought at Voertman’s for $5.80. I graduated from NTSU with a BSE, MED, Nd an EdD and no debt. I taught college in Arkansas for 45 years. I watched as costs rose every year at a rate greater than inflation. A few years ago, a research group looked at the rising costs and found a majority of the rising costs were not due to academic costs. Most of the increase was due to increased spending in the non-academic area. Contributing to our problem was going from state supported to state assisted. When I started teaching the state contributed about 75% of our budget. When I retired, the state was contributing less than 50%. Unfortunately, I think our mindset has become the benefit of college education is to the individual rather than the state as a whole.

Are we underestimating the quality of those showing up this summer?
