I would also like to send a BIG KUDOS to RV. I'm very excited about the future of this program, and as promised I will join the Mean Green Club this year and support this team. This is very good for the program and the University!

Let's get that schedule out! I can't wait for the first home game (after the game at Fouts Field South). Speaking of... how many SLC families just became UNT fans? We can take over Ford Stadium.

Well, let's not get silly! It's an exciting hire and there are high expectations now. We can't realistically expect much in the first year, but Dodge is probably on a 3-year clock to start producing results.

I drove by the AC on the way home and the parking lot was full with a spillover to the field across Bonnie Brae. Nervous? Quiet? They're probably not used to this kind of press attention. It doesn't matter. What matters now is what happens on the field.

Of course it is. And that's fine. Anything that helps the program will surely help Dodge's career. I would love to see, at the end of Dodge's time at UNT, our glorious entry into C-USA.

SMU is just nervous about their impending status as the #3 football team in North Texas. Someday I hope to see a three-way series between UNT-SMU-TCU. When that happens I would personally lead the effort to have a trophy built.
