Just expand the duck pond. There are some monster catfish in there unfortunately they can't be included in a bass tournament.

I think the point is that when Dodge left there were very few upperclassmen due to his reliance on the JUCO's in his last years. Mac's recruits that are in the two-deep or are getting a lot of attention/playing time currently or last season are all over the place. Some that come to mind are Akunne, Berglund, Jimmerson, Harris, Kirby, Busby, Lewis, Lemon, Lee, Pegram, Terrell, Warner, Whitfield, Polk, Evans, Trice, and Brown until his injury. Dodge definitely hit on Y'Barbo, Bellazin, Chancellor, maybe Byrd, Orr, Johnson, etc... but they were all very young when Mac arrived. Please tell me you are kidding on the sentence I placed in bold. -
My family has established a scholarship in a family member's name and that is where I have directed the majority of my giving. Don't make accusations you can't back up big boy.

What excuse? I think Vito is just pointing out the number of senior on the two-deep, which we haven't had in a while. I think it is a good sign that they are finally filling in our two deep instead of relying on players that may not be quite ready to contribute. -

While there are a number of good players that will need to be replaced after this year, next year's senior class will leave a bigger hole to fill, in my opinion. -
Vito isn't near as thorough.

We should just stop playing all sports until they place us in the SEC.

Because our recent signing class was talentless. -
It is about to run off more.

Not that all this realignment has things in a mess. Good Lord, give it a rest. Nothing is final yet.

Math is hard for some....and reading comprehension. It is also tough when reading through turd colored glasses.

Because you have measured him and have his correct height and weight? Look, we aren't going to compete with Alabama for recruits, so stop using them as an example. The line between zero stars, which means they were not observed, and 3 stars can be minimal. What were the ratings for Scott Hall, Booger, Awasome, Hurd (walk on), Cardwell, Cobbs, Dunbar, Quinn, Zuniga, Brewster, etc...? Many led us to four straight bowls and a 26 game conference winning streak? Quit criticizing these kids before they even play a down for us. Trice was a 4 star recruit and is now running second team and the muchheralded WR transfer from OU never did anything and he was a 3 star recruit. There are exceptions to every rule, so I believe we should give these young men that chose our university a chance before we relegate them to the scrap heap. One of our best receivers in recent years, Fitzgerald, was a walk-on that few had ever heard about until he was given a chance. All I am asking is that you give them a chance, then again, that is probably hard for you since you drink from a half empty glass while looking through turd colored glasses.

The teams in the Big 10 also recieve about $25 million per year in revenue sharing from television contracts. Compare apples to apples.

Great article. Thank you. Wish our beat writer was this thorough. Any word on McDorman?

Pegram Ready To Make An Impact (Video)
UNTLifer replied to All About UNT's topic in Mean Green Football
Byrd, Jimmerson, Pegram, Lewis, Rollins, etc.... Great depth and I think Lewis will surprise a lot of people this year. His highlight video was impressive. -
Our walk-on program is strong, but I fail to see how you can argue that our players we sign are not D1 caliber due to their lack of stars or D1 offers and then celebrate a walk-on that had neither. Seems hypocritical to me, a valid point to support my arguement and proof that the rating system is not an accurate assessment for all athletes. I fail to see how being a scholarship player or walk-on matters when I could do a little research and find a multitudeof posts being critical of our athletes that did not have other offers or a certain number of stars given by a biased website.
-
Because to some, the number of stars that get from Rivals and the number of other D1 schools offering is an indication of how good they will be and another reason to criticize something about NT.

Any idea what injuries he has suffered? He had a great game in the HS All-Star game he participated in, and then had his redshirt year last year. When, how and what did he injure?
