  1. Thought he was a good coach but lousy recruiter. That said you ca. Hire good recruiters if you have enough dough ie SMUT Footboll
  2. So if we win or lose today will we be guaranteed a spot in the NIT or the other ones?
  3. I have always thought her to be very hot.
  4. La Tech fans are pretty disappointed: http://www.latechbbb.com/forum/showthread.php?144510-3-12-Semifinals-vs.-UNT
  5. I’m so proud of this team! And this program.
  6. At this time I do not feel confident in our ability to get in the NCAA or even the NIT. Partly this is due to our loss at Marshall and the overall parity in the league. We played a tough non conference schedule which hurt our overall record. Please help convince me I am wrong about this. Signed, hoping for the best!
  7. Agreed and nothing wrong with that so long as you focus on the ones you really have a decent shot at down the line. IE need to stay closer to home for family or want early playing time etc. You have to be able to spot a Kade Renfro type early on.
  8. Maybe they thought he went pro? Good point though huge oversight.
  9. Yeah but he was a good recruiter.
  10. Austin went on to say it takes a "special-breed cat" that goes the walk-on route because you have to love the sport. He then asked McHale what made him want to walk-on at Washington. "It was more like to see if I could do it," McHale, 49, added. "The second year, I got the hang of it. I feel like I did. I came to a crossroads where I'm like, what's the end goal? I was having a great time, but I really need to kind of focus on acting. And that's why I became one of the biggest movie stars in the history of Hollywood." Austin didn't dive into too much of the details of his college football history, but the WWE Hall of Famer played at the University of North Texas “It was a fun experience,” Austin said on The DA Show back in January. “I had dreams of being a pro football player but just couldn’t quite make the grade by a long-shot on that. I was a good player at the local or regional level. Beyond that, those guys had too much talent." Austin played linebacker and defensive end while at North Texas. He was a running back in high school.
  11. UTSA is becoming a powerhouse in this league I think.
