I just got an email from "Mean Green Sports" claiming that I could watch the Texas Southern game "live" at 7:00 tomorrow via Mean Green Premium. Which do you think is more plausable: 1. They moved back kick-off by one hour and are not telling anyone else? 2. By 7:00 they meant 7:00 Eastern Time? 3. By "watch live" they meant "watch live with a complimentry one hour delay"? 4. Somebody screwed-up again and we should all blame the AD?

For Pete's sake, I really wish RV/athletic department would do a better job protecting the brand's image. We should of given them more current video or at least signed-off on the promo before they ran it. We need to raise the bar around here! How did I do?

I bet he is one of those career students who is afraid to leave school for the real world. Probably never had a real job, he still has a room at his parent's house that he decorated in jr. high, probably never gotten past first base, thinks he has everything figured out in life, wears Star Trek underwear, etc, etc.

I don't think the score alone should be the only inidicator of improvement. Some teams like to run-up the score more than others. When I was watching the game, I was trying to figure out our strenghs and weaknesses based on each possession. I tried to factor out the large speed and size discrepencies, since we won't see a team that fast or big the rest of the season. I still liked what I saw (for the most part), but I could of skipped the first quarter.

I'm listening to the Green Guys on 88.1. There show seems much improved over last year's. They actually sound like they know what they are talking about now. They interviewed Lance Dunbar to get his thoughts on the UNT/LSU game as well as current players. It may be worth giving them a listen if you didn't care for them in the past.

The chances of this team beating a top 25 team is probably 1:100. Our chances of beating TSU is 5:1. You go with the odds. We have played a lot top of 25 teams over the years and have nothing but a paycheck to show for it. Playing a top 25 team close does not get you anything tangible.

I think your friends were just compensating for being small in the pants.

Wow, such a great learning experience for these young men: 1. Don't forget to pay the hooker (see Secret Service example) 2. That's like saying allowing a kid to fail out and forcing them to go to community college for a semester is a learning experience. It would be better to teach them how not to fail then to make them learn the hard way. There is a complete lack of leadership at KNTU which doesn't provide them the tools to be successful before they get on the 88.1. That is what makes much (not all) of the broadcasting sound like a low budget high school radio station. Low expectations with little guidence is the problem. Russ Campbell needs to be replaced if the University wants KNTU to improve.
