The whole incident was staged......This is MTV we are talking about. Also, why is it when Kanye interrupted her, she just stood there frozen and MTV quickly pulled to commercials without allowing her the chance to continue with her speech. Also she appears immediately from backstage when Beyonce calls out her name, ready to pounce on stage.....

Stallings said that we didnt need a new stadium about ten years ago. The reason he said it was because he knew we were in position to finance and raise money for a new one and our attendance was in the 10,000's at the time... I mean dont get me wrong everyone at UNT wanted a new stadium, because Fouts was in bad shape, but it wasnt the right time to move forward upon it. 2001: was when the campaign started and it was perfect timing: Sun Belt Champs, increased attendance, and the metroplex was aware of our success. Unfortanely, the referendum didnt pass because some nerds wanted more money to into the library to buy more shelving.... That caused an 8 year delay and raised costs upon the future students in the tens of millions and of course what we have now with the football team.

ITs not that she cares, she wishes the university well. but she doesnt have a clue what to do about the demise of our program.

If this was done last time, we would have had Jerry Glanville, Jim Harbaugh, Jimbo Fisher, and countless other qualified candidates to chose from, coaches from all over the nation and not only the local 5A football districts. A few years back we hired the great Gene Stallings who still lives in the area to look at how bad our program was and what could be done to fix it. Get Gene Stallings in here, he would know what is best and what is needed and what we are lacking. Experience counts.... Well North Texas BOR, heres your chance to fix a major problem, hire an outside consultant, believe me its worth every penny to analyze and interview your new football coach and the new assistants that will rebuild this thatered program. Prevent this from ever happening again: Todd Dodge: Do you mind if I bring all of my high school assistants with me up to Denton. Rick Villareal: I don't see why not?

There were alot of good well known and proven coaches that were interested in the job....Its just that our AD didnt know how to approach the hiring process. Besides he had his heart set on a proven High School coach from day 1....

Vic Trilli will always be honored by myself and all mean green fans for replacing all of the Texas Longhorn Orange Seats with Dark Green Mean Green seats in the Super Pit.... He oversaw this entire project and it was completed. Also Vic Trilli was a true coach standing by the side of one of his players that was diagnosed with colon cancer and died shortly afterwards, he traveled all the way to his funeral to see his family and wish them well. Then when he returned to Denton the following day, he was was fired by our new AD Rick Villareal. Our then coach Darrell Dickey was fired the same season after having battled diabetes, gallbladder surgery, and a mild heart attack. Karma's a bitch isn't RV.....

The only thing RV gets credit for in my book is bringing Tailgating, which was a no-brainer.... From what I heard, we were competitive enough when we were competing against UTEP, LaTech for the coveted CUSA invitation. That was the worst thing to happen to NT athletics since SMU blocked us from entering the SWC

Hey he's 3-0 against WKU, thats all that matters for this program....

Im going to go with some of my other mean green fans.... Finally get to see a hometown team that can play some real D-1 football. Hope it doesnt sell-out by tommorrow....

An amazing supporter of this program, In my opinion anyone who donates, attends any games or even anyone who stays out in the parking lot to tailgate and not enter the game is doing their part.....We need as much support as possible.

Its probably a magnet, our Athletic Department has a fetish for magnets... Great News, hopefully we dont see anymore delays....

Super big congrats to the following people who made this happen. 1. The Students 2. UNTFYLER 3. SGA RV and the Athletic Dept had their chance 8 years ago and it failed even when we had a decent football team, if it wasnt for these three mentions above this would have dragged on even longer. 30,000 + stadium sounds good. lets make it 35,000
