Looks like the return of "a win is a win."

On the plus side, really cool to see Brandan Walton not let this be his last game. We needed him to will us and he did. Fun to see.

He likes the big stage.

This game really shouldn't affect anything. He's either going to be fired or he's not. If the bar is set so low that a win like this is a big deal for the program, well, he probably wasn't going to be fired anyway.

If he does come back I hope he proves everyone wrong.

I just hope he doesn't come back, its getting really tough to justify buying season tickets every year.

Yep...Don't taught a 4 game winning streak that was against the worse teams in conference...A freaking dumpster fire...should have lost this game ..effing shit he's coming back...f×÷×+÷×#+÷k

An OT win over the worst team in the conference probably just saved his job.

HIs job was safe before this game even tipped off. His job would have only been unsafe if this was Year 4 instead of Year 2...

Serious question.

If the AD doesn't give a f!#% about having a winning program then how can they expect the alumni, city residents, and the mean green nation to care either?

It can be argued that none of those groups care (enough) for it to matter, but this program WAS on the rise and fan interest was as well. So the program killer will be brought back to lead(?) us through another mediocre (at best) season before he can be fired. If this season is any indication we can look forward to another crappy home schedule next season to make sure we kick what's left of the fan base right square in the nuts.

Brilliant, just f-ing brilliant.

Because you're called the MEAN GREEN NATION. That's a through thick or thin type thing, but Benny needs to go. :)

By now, you know the answer to this question. As you can read in my recent post on another thread--its a cost containment question. Everything else is secondary.
