  1. Gen Studies (Eng, Hist, Geology) minor Philosophy Now I run an Ad/Design Agency
  2. Who are BR fans? The only things that bother me about Aggies are a) girls look terrible in maroon and bright white tennnies and wranglers is still a terrible look.
  3. you guys are forgetting the "catch" that was ruled incomplete by review, would have set the Frogs up inside the Utah 20, and the 2 or 3 procedure calls in a row to take the frogs out of good field position. I hardly think the officiating was one sided, it was bad all around. great win for the Frogs.
  4. Coming up from the Fort, in addition to a few Green Shirts, bringing a couple of ex Frogs, possibly even a guy who blocked for LT and played against Booger.
  5. I bet if you were to hop the train to FW or Dal you might have better luck getting a ride up to Denton...but you might want to work that out before you jump on the train.
  6. Evil Empire...that has a nice ring to it.
  7. Don't forget the field goal blocked, returned for a TD, going into half vs Ariz. Or the 3 minute span vs Ark that we magically gave up around 20 pts.
  8. Anyone notice that Bowling Greens logo is a throw back to their 70's stylized falcon head...it appears they brought their worm back.
  9. Having accepted the fact that the interlocked NT is not an option, and posed with the possibilities block letters or new logo...I thought the new uni's looked great. The numbers are a bit big, but at least they are not shadowed, and I kind of like the shape of the numbers...a bit different. I thought I would hate the "give it to me lance" block letters (I reallly couldnt stand the script) but I actaully liked it and it is better than the USPS eagle head. Clean, no goofy extra lines...love the ringer look of the shirts. Love the green pants on the road, hope we go with white britches at home. I don't like the all green look...reminds me too much of Gumby. Could have been worse...silly MUTS looked like a middle school. GMG
  10. Lets see...I remember PC & JT ripping up 5 minutes of clock in the 4th on one drive when it was real nutt cuttin time, when MTS seriously needed a stop. I remember us missing 2 fg's and having a third called off ...so if you really want to play the if's and butts game, NT beat Muts 23 - 13. I love how the D played. Yes they made some mistakes, but man they were flying to the ball and were hitting hard. They along with the O will only get better. I think everyone knew that once we took the lead...it was church. The 4th Q was textbook Dickey, give that man any lead and he is going to eat clock and pound the ball. It is almost becoming a broken record with MUTS...NT always wins the game in the 4th, credit that to our conditioning, confidence and desire. The commentator put it best...NT expects to win...Muts hopes to win. I am thrilled to think that this team grew up in one game, when it usually takes 4. This is going to be a fun season. 26 straight
  11. Thanks JD. What other goodies do you have in your bag of tricks?
  12. Frogs get SMU next week, Utes get UtSt. After that they both meet on Trs at Amon Carter. Should make for a pretty good game.
  13. PC & JT are going to run all over these clowns.
  14. When does winter break begin?
  15. Layfette Sunbelt team would get extra support from locals. Sunbelt offices are now located there so they would have a hands on approach to promoting the game. And mostly I would much rather go to one of the gem's of the south over the armpit that is Shreeveport. Whats good for the Belt is good for NT.
  16. I was refering to the average student. I thought I heard that Rice and Columbia were inviting the Tulane kids to take their classes with them.
  17. That is odd, I thought Rice had offered opened up their doors to the Tulane students...perhaps SMU did the same.
  18. Carter lifted the restrictions on home brewing that had been in place since prohibition...I guess he really was the smartest president. in reference to an earlier post: Venezuela only sells through Citgo in the US, not sure what Canada does...
  19. saw on CNN yesterday that gas in Venezuela is up to about .05 per gallon. Perhaps it is time to switch our focus from mid east to So. Am.
  20. my guess is that AFA will be here in 2007, The Frogs play up there that year and I am sure they would like the metroplex exposure. have not heard anything about a future series with the Frogs, other than RV is trying to put it together.
  21. Actually Ryner slipped up several times and acccidentaly called us "North Texas". I thought it was a pretty good show, It was great that most of the students interviewed were "Mathmatics" Majors and other complex majors I had never heard of...as Hammer pointed out no PE or General Studies. They said the girls were smoking hot. Good enough for me.
  22. KATT...when you refer to the city that is flooding, is it Baton Rougue or NO? Also I have to figure that a ton of LSU's players are from areas that are really in a bad way, and likely want to go home to help out with the family. Man that has to be tough... Does anyone know if So Miss got hit hard? What is Tulane going to do? Adios.
  23. I am guessing Tech, off the top of my head...1999.
