Kentucky to announce their new Coach today. I really feel for the Aggies, Gillespie was gonna establich A&M as a power in years to come....or maybe it's just because I hate Kentucky(the way many hate Duke), and I know he will return the Wildcats to the top.

I know what you were intending, but it's not quite the same thing. UNC was known as the Tar Heels long before they picked a ram for their on the sidelines mascot. (Same with Alabama...known as Crimson Tide before White Elephant adopted) That said, I'm down with Mean Green. Just setting the record straight on that, because out sitaution is different to UNC or Alabama, or a dozen other schools that always get mentioned.

I got mine acouple weeks ago. When we won the SBC title I emailed Voertmans and was put on the list. Once they arrived the Monday after the Memphis game, they felt so bad they sent it for free(well..I had to pay for shipping).

I can't say that since Duke in '91 upset them....and that was their weaker team. That '92 Duke squad was something else...only 2 losses the whole season, and I think both of those were in overtime. ****Duke actually lose both games at the end of regulation. To UNC by 2 and to Wake Forest by 4(after Duke blew it's last second chance to tie and the Deacons hit FT).

If they're in the top 5 after mid October in the football season, the rest of the country might as well give up. Back to just basketball though...this Florida squad might be the best since I've followed college basketbal(I only date back about 20 years following the sport). It's either them UNLV of the early 90's, or Duke '91 and '92.

I am a fan, but I started following college ball around the time the 3 point line was instituted. I would like to see it pushed back to the International Distance though(which is only like about 8 more inches).

We had a ridiculous losing streak of like...13 games near the beginning of the season. But we're definitely playing better as of late. We were down 5-0 today for instance and came back to win.

I'd have liked to see how UCLA could've competed if they hadn't gotten in so much early foul trouble. But yeah, Florida is scary good when they come to play.

A school winning titles tells me the kid is a winner. Normally a PG is the heartbeat of his team. He may not be the best player, but he's nearly always the most valuable. I'm not sure...I just think he seems worth a look.

Can't necessarily judge a point guard in height alone. Plenty of great ones have only been 6 foot or so.
