The best thing to do is get back out there and watch this team compete in the NIT. We still get to see more basketball and they still have more basketball to get better at. Hopefully this is good practice for next season and we can keep some of this core together.

If you are talking about TCU - There is a real possibility they win 1 game the rest of the regular season, maybe another in the conference tournament. They would be 17-13 overall and 6-12 in conference before their conference tournament where they will likely add one more loss and another win if they are lucky. They have no bad loss, and a couple of pretty good wins. Do they deserve a better seed because they have more opportunities to win and lose against highly ranked teams? I don't know - for as much as we think we get punished for being in a conference with some really bad teams, they might start to think they get punished for playing the best teams in the country twice a year. I will tell you this: If you were to seed the tournament by KenPom and Net Ratings - I think you'd get as close to perfect as you could.

This (UNT) is not a power school and UAB is not a household name, either. Hopefully the AAC inclusion will get better turnout. Memphis, SMU, South Florida, Temple, ECU, Tulane, Tulsa, Wichita State.... There are going to be some really historically good basketball programs coming through the arena in the future.

You’re right - I’d rather someone not make changes when things don’t work out. That’s a good idea. Things will get better if we do the same thing over and over again and employ people who stick to their guns, are afraid to make changes, and are hard headed even when things aren’t working.
