It's really just disappointing to see. I am a firm believer of free speech obviously there are times where that's just unacceptable on the board (threats, personal insults,etc). To delete or nullify someone's opinion to further your own personal motivation/business just seems wrong or tyrannical (smu grad type move), even if this is a private owned site it feels like a slap in the face to people that have been here awhile. Keeping those threads up would not hurt the forum. But taking them down is a clear indication of getting further in the AD's pocket. The Athletic Department knows this is the biggest congregation of fans on the Internet. They are trying to sway public perception of the program for incoming students, coaches, recruits. It makes perfect sense and should be tried by the department to do. Maybe next time make some bs threads to push it off the front page just be discreet about it because it's leading to anger and confusion. Or better yet. With all that said I love it here always have. They only intervene on Fire Morris threads. They can only do so much. AD trying to control public perception on the board. Only thing that would help is a week long strike by all the forum members so that add revenue drops considerably. This maybe a private owned site but I'm sure they want to keep it going. Mods changing/deleting threads is absolutely disgusting. It's different if there are threats of violence but to just voice your opinion and for it to be deleted or altered is unexcusable 😉

No it's still valid. 1/5 on deep balls. And that was just barely a deep ball only 36 yards. Hopefully improves more with Morris's offense. Just feels good to get a dub.

I see the reasoning of starting Stone now, Rodgers is good across the middle of the field, short and medium boundary throws. He's consistently missing the deep ball though. He is definitely a clear improvement over Stone. The defense still sucks but Caponi is adjusting.

That was a great throw there by Rodgers on what looked like a failed screen.

Defense still struggling heavily. Better job by Morris controlling the clock so far aside from going tempo close to the Red zone with 3 minutes to go in the half. More positives so far this game then the others.

I hope we are all wrong, but this coach seems like a trash hire. I see an 1-11 season with Caponi being fired. Hopefully next year will be better but wow am I doubtful. He doesn't even seem like a good sales person anymore.

I think the real question is how does Mosley react to an 0-12 season. Because that's where we are going, it's possible we get another Portland type beating with ACU giving us their all.

If we could get a solid 10 year string going, we would become the college sports team of DFW. Our brand is more accessible and progressive than TCU or SMU to the younger generation.

Grant would of had to be blown out 3 straight games to be an actual equivalent exercise. He wasn't, he also had an impressive track record. Grasping at this comparison is good for feeling better I guess, but its not substantiated. Morris no matter what you or anyone says was no more prepared for this role than Seth was. This was a weak search hampered by an inexperienced AD, who was the benefit of another weak search. This is an absolute failure so far, we are all calling it. I called it the second it was announced. I would love to believe you could be critical, I used to always look forward to you and that billysee guy with recruiting. I just don't see it, personally in your spot I wouldn't be critical either.

I really think we fired Littrel both a year too early and too late. If we fired after 2021 season and pursued deion it's very possible he comes over especially given our history of inclusion. Firing seth when we did left us a weak search and got saddled with SL light without Bennett.

Morris is what most of us called. A more expensive Littrel with better sales skills. And just possibly worse defensive coaching contacts.

The purge in recruiting from this pathetic season is gonna hit harder than any of the losses. We consistently make the wrong decisions and are rightfully treated with the results. If hodge ***** the bed, Mosley is already a failure. Weak search on both fronts. Love it here, but can't wait to see the lip service this time.

Fire Caponi, we all called this from the jump. Quicker Morris understands this doesn't work, the longer his tenure will be. To me it looks like we spent an awful lot to hire a competent QB coach and somehow a worse DC.
