Yeah this is a weak hire and an obvious potential misfire for Morris & Co

Announcing Jordan Davis as the OC is extremely underwhelming. Our DC doesn't appear to have deep connections if we are hiring grad assistants to coaching positions off rip.

It wasn't meant to be a comparisons of universities, just a comparison between 2 job opportunities and why just the chance to interview with us was more appealing then to not hire your own standard of subordinates. Basically we are giving Morris everything within reason to propel the team where as state wasn't able to.

Hey shout out Destin, I'm from around those parts. Its hard to find anyone out here who knows of UNT even when tourist come.

When I've said just North Texas I've been asked if its a trade school. Multiple times.

Grey is an awful color for us and should be abolished, black should only be used sparingly ( maybe Halloween black out or the fcs game). Our merchandise is just awful and needs help. The Texas outline on the field and on merch is pretty ugly and plus Texas is in our name seems redundant. The NT interlocking logo is pretty ugly probably just outdated, flying worm and sow should be the only logos for sports purposes. I am in complete agreement on that green should be the color we wear the most, we are the MEAN GREEN after all. Also the uniforms from this past year are ok the feather texture was a cool idea just execution of it was meh. The basketball uniforms are awesome aside from the grey ones. They are simple, clean, and look good on camera.

I was pretty sure @TheReal_jayD said this wasn't an option anymore? If that has now changed, sign me the expletive up. We would easily have on paper the best Texas/DFW recruiters in the g5.

The different feel to this new regimen is genuinely exciting. Morris definitely has a plan and to see who Texas State is hiring it really shows why he would turn that down and come to UNT.

This staff each day is looking like a recruiting masterpiece. If results/wins come early we are gonna be in a great spot with these guys selling the program.

Time will tell on this one, but looks to be as good of choice as any for the position.

If it's trice, he always seemed to be the more hype up people kinda guy better for the college ranks.

See that's concerning though, he's a first time fbs head coach. Seems like a lot on his plate that could have been mitigated if that's the decision. I'll support either way just feels like that would be his first misfire as HC here.

An OC does more than just call plays guys. Its important to have one even if only "in name". It would be be criminal not to hire an OC. Our staff should have the same number of people the average P5s have including off field analyst. We getting big fish but the boats not full yet keep em coming.

He definitely needs to. "In name only" OC's goes way beyond just calling plays.

So no OC at all??????
