    What is your opinion on where to focus recruitment and the right mix? ex. Power 5 bench players Smaller Conference starters but realistically not stars High School Stars Division I Stars JUCO

    He needs to join UNT just so Hank can say “ we Wicks is burning the candle on both ends - offense and defense .”

    I would like to see him on our coaching staff in charge of player development. Also playing in TBT. Either Ross or Mac should grab him.

    What we don’t see that contributes to what we do see is important. Leadership and mentoring of the other coaches and players . Loving them well, lifting their spirits and correction with grace. These are paying the biggest dividends.

    In the last year , we beat SEC, Big 12, Big Ten in the NIT.

    Just avoid a 4 minute scoring drought and we should be good .

    What can’t be overlooked is the job of Coach Hodge and the entire staff to help individual players and the team to overcome adversity through hard work, resilience and love for each other. This will pay off big short and long term.

    Yes , we have a higher NET rating.

    Yes and the WBIT teams are now selected after the NCAA field . NIT gets third choice in ladies’ teams .

    I also see ESPN getting behind the AAC which is a big help . No coincidence with them televising the NIT.
