  1. Lol that’d be amazing and its impossible. Hes gonna either stay at TCU or be the Texas A&M OC. He can make way more with way less responsibility at both jobs and compete for NCs
  2. Id say it’s definitely not a great one to hire a HC. Last year I wanted UNT to get in on it early before some hidden gems got picked up but they stuck with Littrell and here we are now
  3. Definitely one of the more interesting hires of the last few seasons. I know Harbaugh heavily credits him with helping turn around Michigan after the disaster that was 2020
  4. Interesting. I like him and think he could be good but am very cautious to say I want him after just how average his VT teams were. We’re trying to move past being average
  5. I just wonder what this team would be like with a real Head Coach
  6. Uhh i guess you’d be surprised to know that everyone in the SEC has elite talent. Wont just be him with elite talent like it is at JSU
  7. Yes he had a very bad attitude and ran the program like a frat. Also on a few occasions made fun of opposing and did stupid things like flipping off the camera. Not to mention his history with Zack Smith and being a big fan of strip clubs lol
  8. Do you think that the players and coaching you face at Jackson St are similar to what you face at Auburn? But more so than that, do you think the admin there want to risk there futures on Deion? Already majorly screwed up on Harsin and now they need a homerun hire and Auburn fans and boosters will want a proven guy. I think most schools will need a few years of him at the G5 level
  9. Auburn and any P5 school who is seriously planning to contend for a NC will take a chance on Deion just yet. Like you said they don’t wanna try an experiment and, on top of that, lose their jobs in the process and maybe not find another one should it go badly. The big P5 schools are always looking for proven commodities and Deion isn’t one, atleast not yet. Kiffin will be Auburns new HC and Ole Piss will likely promote from within or bring back Jeff Lebby
  10. Spot on with what I think. Not sure he could handle out coaching and not simply using pure player talent to beat teams
  11. While I think Deion would be an odd hire at UNT, I do believe he’d do really well at Memphis. Then again hes lived in Texas forever so maybe he’d excel at UNT. Who really knows
  12. Thats not my point though. This is a team that isn’t nearly as good as they have been and this was a big game for UNT, who is supposed to be 2nd best in Conference, that they should’ve definitely won. Instead they once again play a big game and shit the bed under Littrell and hes now 1-6 vs UAB. Its a tale as old as time Thought for a bit there might be a reason to keep him despite my better judgment, and now i see thats not the case
  13. DD did call plays at Memphis. Jimbo calls all plays at A&M with recommendations from DD and Coley. Jimbo is a control freak
  14. Hes done in my book. Lost another big game and this time to an interem HC and a team that has done poorly all year. There is absolutely no excuse to lose to UAB this year
  15. Texas was and still is a dumpster fire. They wont surpass A&M while Sark is HC. He cant win in the Big 12
  16. Lol yeah ignore Texas paying $4m for Ewers. They definitely aren’t paying a ton for their team
  17. Spoke to some family friends today who are booster’s about A&M potentially firing Jimbo. Apparently A&M has already found him to be in breach of his contract and can fire him for significantly less than everyone thinks. And him being fired is a very real possibility now. Before the Auburn game nobody saw it as being very likely but after that miserable performance the boosters, fans, students and AD are ready to move on. Still though, A&M is worried players will transfer like crazy if hes fired which makes them hesitant to do it with how much talent is on the team currently.
  18. As previously discussed that buyout is nothing for A&M. A&M, Texas, Bama and a few others can and will pay that kinda buyout in those situations should they decide it is necessary. Very few outside of those three can do that
  19. Thats not what im asking at all. He said “it doesn’t work that way” not “it would hurt recruiting” so I asked him to explain it
  20. Please explain to me how this works then. He has an another year on his contract and if nobody picks him up from another school and UNT doesn’t fire him then he will go into next year on the last year of his current deal. So UNT cant wait til mid season 2023 to sign him to an extension should he be deserving?
  21. Just please do not give him an extension this season or offseason. Next year hes got a lot to prove next year in the AAC
  22. I’d love for him to stay as I think he has helped Seth tremendously and I think the defense could improve for next year. UNT did lose 10 players on the defensive side if the ball including two key starters so a regression this years isn’t that surprising. I suspect they’d be around 74th like last year had some of those pieces not left. Unless you’re making some bigger hire, id do what i can to keep him away from retirement
  23. Best UNT uniforms ever had were the NT Mean Joe throwbacks. The flying worm is cool and probably a close second. Don’t like the current uniforms and I still don’t love the eagle wings coming out of the facemask as all I can think of is Oregon. I like when the full eagle is on the side of the helmet and I wish they went back to the previous uniforms worn while Fine was QB or did something more interesting than they currently have atleast
