  1. As others said, I think it is on Facebook as I haven't seen anything on ESPN so far. And it became heated as they argued the morality of doing what King is doing. Taking a red-shirt to basically call this season "a wash" to try and come back next season with higher hopes. Short summary, a majority of them were against doing it as they felt it was quitting on your team. I think only one of them argued that it is within the rules and their right to do it. Then it branched into the current transfer rules but only briefly before they decided not to go down that slippery slope.
  2. They featured our game with Houston and talked about what the game was supposed to billed to be (Fine vs King), but naturally the conversation turned to King red-shirting (it got heated btw). I couldn't get a screenshot. If anyone has one, please post it here.
  3. King was too scared to go head-to-head with Mason Fine that he will get shown up so he wants to have another crack at us next year at home without Fine. Clever
  4. Sounds like an easy choice to me. Root for your Alma Mater. My sister went to Texas Tech but I actively root against Texas Tech because... screw that place
  5. Accusations against players or administrators that either never played for KU or are no longer associated with the university. Sounds about right for the NCAA where the only consistency is inconsistency. The basis for this is weak at best, and they only come off as trying to clear up a shitstorm they allowed to happen due to their incompetence. The football player Preston never played for the school, De Souza was sat for the entire year after reports came out, cleared BY the NCAA to continue playing, then the NCAA come back and try to do it all over again. The accusations are also coming from the Duke assistant where the player went to Duke instead of KU. As I said before, hearsay and no first-hand evidence. Depending on whatever clauses and agreements the NCAA have with schools, I hope KU goes after them with everything they've got. Even when they get cleared of this in a few months time, it's difficult to wash off that stank so I really hope they go after them with everything they've got.
  6. Exactly. You just said that the NCAA has no backbone. And if they are going to "make an example" of KU, where's the evidence they did anything wrong in the first place? Hearsay about a third party guardian accepting money a player may or may not have known about? Good luck with that as your evidence. At worst, De Souza is not eligible to play and just goes on to the NBA and KU loses a scholarship or 2. Nothing will happen to them. Unless you happen to have evidence more than just hearsay that officials and the NCAA don't know about?
  7. I saw that. Maybe they know something about Wilkerson that we don't? Super Double Secret Commit?
  8. Side note, not surprised that Weaver from Cal is leading the nation in tackles. Dude is an absolute animal. He played out of his mind against Ole Miss. 22 total tackles in the game, 11 solo tackles. The closest to him? 9 total, 5 solo. Beast
  9. That's what I thought. Then I saw a play of him last year against the Seahawks(?), where he destroyed the defender, ran over him like he wasn't even there, and almost obliterated the guy's neck, and social media exploded about what a violent runner he is and knew he could do something like that at this level.
  10. Haha! He yelled "Hijo de puta" when he sank that putt. You know that felt good for him. Love seeing our guys succeed at the next level. Contributes to our legacy
  11. Great news to read. Watching the play, it was hard to see how he got hurt but glad officials did everything right to take every precaution. Also, about Wren Baker already being at the hospital by the time UTSA officials got there. What else can you say? Not only is he a great representative for the school, but what a class act of a human being. He didn't need to go but was already there before UTSA officials. How did we get so lucky having him represent us?
  12. He looks to be their goal line and short yardage bruiser. Not a bad position to be in
  13. I feel for my boy, Mike Leach, but you're right. That is a blueprint Leach Air Raid football game. How many times did the same thing happen when he was at Texas Tech?
  14. https://www.expressnews.com/sports/columnists/john_whisler/article/UTSA-s-path-to-11-0-perfection-is-no-pipe-dream-12250118.php Never Forget
  15. Glad we were able to use this game to wash the stank of the LA Tech game off of the throwback uni's
  16. "Had to". You don't want us to score? Stop us from scoring
  17. That one guy in the crowd boo'ing since they didn't go for it on 4th down is my spirit animal
  18. Crush. These. Clowns. Let's keep pushing and slit their throats
