Game day is almost here folks. Many are hoping for the first ever sellout of Apogee. If that is going to happen, people need to bring new faces to the game. 2 of my friends will be joining me at the game, both are seniors. 1 did green brigade his freshman year but hasn’t been to a game since. The other has never been to a UNT game. I’m also taking them by some of the tailgates before the game to help them see how much fun game day can be. Who are y’all bringing?

I was at Wells Fargo today and this dude was with his wife. He was wearing a UNT hat & a UNT shirt. I was like oh hey nice hat (I was wearing a UNT shirt) he was like oh thanks haha. I said so are you planning on going to the game September 1st? He paused for a second and said, nah, I prefer watching the games on TV. My question to everyone is, how do we fix this problem?

WR Jyaire Shorter. He’s gonna do some serious damage this year imo.

I highly recommend someone pickup freshman WR Jyaire Shorter. I would be VERY surprised if he doesn’t play this year, and that says a lot based on our WR core.

My man Bryce English didn't play last season due to a terrible foot injury. He'll be back and better than ever this season. Lets go #34. I had a loving home last year and adopted a second player, Mr. Andy Flusche. He has grown up and flown the nest, so I am back to a 1 bird home this year.

6 days until Rice kicks off the season for C-USA. Everyone thinks their team is better than “insert rival here”. Let’s see how everyone sees the current power ranking of C-USA. Here’s what I think: 1) FAU 2) UNT 3) Marshall 4) UAB 5) LA Tech 6) MTSU 7) ODU 8) UTSA 9) FIU 10) Southern Miss 11) Western Kentucky 12) Rice 13) UTEP 14) Charlotte The first grouping is the schools who I think can win C-USA. The second grouping is the schools who I think can make it to the title game, but would likely lose to whoever comes from the other side. The third grouping is the schools who can have a good season, but won’t make it to the championship game. The fourth grouping is the schools who are just trying to make it through the season healthy. They won’t make it to a bowl game, but they can get some experience this year and grow.

I’m here at the scrimmage and can tell you it looks much better in person. It actually blends pretty well when everything is cleaned up. I like it.
