Thank you. Current team has the talent to get to 7-9 wins. When Seth got here, I thought it would be a couple years before we even cracked a .500 season.. that team was awful, other than a few outliers like Jeff Wilson. so the furthest thing from “running the program into the ground”.

I don’t look at the stats when I criticize Aune. I’m looking at the throws behind receivers that unnecessarily make catches more difficult. I’m looking at the throws in the dirt when a guy has broken free and could be a big play. I’m looking at the throws into double/triple coverage for no apparent reason. These things add up to your defense being on the field more than they should be. A TD for us turns into a 3 and out and the defense back on the field. It’s the reason why we’ll sometimes have drives with nothing but runs. At a certain point, Seth and co just need a sustained drive to get the defense a breather. Just look at the time of possession. It’s alarming.

It took a while but Texas woke up. UTSA looks like they belong tho, which is more than we can say about our squad lately.

I get the frustration with running on 2nd and long but honestly.. we’re more likely to break a run than Aune making the yards up on a throw

You would be correct in that assumption. Voertmans did not have the inventory to fully stock all 3 stores in apogee. Tons of stuff on the way.
