I just thankful we are not playing SMU this year.

That is a nightmare of a thought but I am sure they watching.

I thought in the first half the stadium looked like a pretty good crowd but I doubt many of the first timers will be back.

It was an out-of-conference game what did you really expect? I had hoped against hope that this year would be a new dawn but I guess not. The sad thing is I had a bunch of new people out at this game I don't think they were very impressed.

That display will really screw up attendance we will be very lucky to make the minimum attendance average this year.

I am OK with the icing rules the only one I have somewhat of a problem with is the goalie restriction rule, not allowing the goalie in to the corners is kind of crap. But I am ready to see the ignoring of the red line, the tag up off-sides and the bigger offensive zone. The way I heard the icing rule talked about on the radio is they are going to very strict about in a wave-off kind of way. They said the main goal is to keep the game moving, and that if it went under the opponents stick or now if it was a missed pass it would automatically get waved-off.

The new text on the helmet looked strange to me and kind of confusing. Why are some of the letters inter-locked and others not? I keep trying to connect what is popping out at me and I am getting "ortxas" whatever that means. Or to a lesser extent I see "NhTe" Is this some kind of code, maybe a little conspiracy?

I just heard them say it is predicted by the corp of engineers that it could take up to six months pump out the city if it completely floods, then the rebuilding. The Super-dome, the guy from FEMA announced it has some kind of emergency power. And it is a tall building, even if the field floods there is still plenty of room higher up to.
