  1. Jeff Sagarin rated us as the 180th best team in all levels of college football last year (includes FCS). I went back through every year since 2004, and it was our lowest rating. Previously we were 144th, 63rd, 118th, 121st, 150th, 160th, 171st, 168th, 148th, 161st and 102nd. Before last season, I thought we would definitely improve on our awful 2014 season. Of course, that didn't happen, and we actually sunk to the lowest of all-time lows. But now we have a new QB, a new coaching staff, and some new energy around the program. Some on this board are optimistic, others think this could be Dodge Era part II. So, here are my very simple questions: 1. Will the team be better than last year? Yes or no. If yes, how much better? A little better, a lot better? If worse, how much worse? Before you answer this question, IGNORE what you think our record will be. Focus instead on the quality of our team. (i.e., it's possible that we could win more games than last year despite being less talented or worse, due to schedule.) 2. Will we be better or worse offensively than last year? Again, if better, how much better? If worse, how much worse? 3. Will we be better or worse defensively than last year? *If you can explain why you think what you think, that would be good, but certainly isn't necessary. Just trying to get a better feel for the pulse of the fanbase.
  2. does anybody know what their status is - either now or for the texas game? i read brett vito's outstanding coverage daily, but haven't seen anything. figured if he doesn't know, then nobody else does, but might as well ask. :-) i'd personally be surprised if they received zero punishment. maybe suspended a half?
