  1. In reading the options in the paper this morning except for BYU the options suck. When you look at the investment in facilities at OU, Texas and their brand I can't imagine them staying long in a lower rank P5 then they have now. I could see them adding 4 just for the geographics. Example BYU, CSU........man how quickly a con can fall! Did the Baylor situation spur this?
  2. Texas will stay in the fake 12 because they can keep the LHN... Bowen preaching expansion then bolt? I don't think so. i wonder if they have uped the league intranxe fee dramatically?
  3. We have not had one post game event since Ap has opened! That's RV
  4. I would bet most of us on this blog have played some kind of competitive sport in high school or at sometime and we know the sacrifice it took. I can't even imagine the sacrifice it takes at the college level. I really enjoy seeing youth strive for a common goal. I love seeing overachievers succeed and hate seeing underachievers (HATE, HATE) This is what I feel sums up UNT on athletics an underachiever. Potential potential ,potential means you have not done squat! It is not just the on the field success, but what else can be done to make games more enjoyable and fan friendly. It is an EVENT! I get PO when we are not even competitive. How great was the first half of the Georgia game! I expect us to surpass our potential and be competitive in every sport. I will also do all I can to help that happen! GMG
  5. When it comes to the 90 hater, best option is the ignore bottom! You will enjoy the blog a lot more !

  7. What r u going to do about the attendance? Get off the butt and think outside the box! Maybe post game events or concerts! How about a mudder course event after the game with student teams. I am so sick of this old school crap! This is why I would like the see a younger AD with marketing experience! Cowboys are looser so why go , because it is more than just about the game!

  10. If this is right that is scary as hell! Are we doing bed check the night and of Sept 2nd?
  11. As much trouble as we have had in getting HS d tackles I think you jump on a bunch of them and try to develop! Although it could be different working a 3 man front with a hy brid!
  12. If they are blues shirting when will they show up on the roster? Start of fall?
  13. How do you become a better? By working your butt if during the off season! Exciting times thanks Prez Smak down ! Social media, SM , SM and a few other things!
  14. He has the frame should not be a problem. Quick feet n a tackle is nice.
  15. Is there a dead date for an AD to be hired? I don't think so. Maybe before the start of school?
  16. The potential AD may want before he accepts or declines.
  17. Prez Smak down is a new kind of leader for UNT. Very impressed with his decisions and not be a stand on the sideline kind of Prez! He deserves all the credit for the recent athletic changes! GMG
  18. Could this be the future of ADs? More of a marketing type? I think so! Syracuse hires ESPN's John Wildhack to be its next AD John Wildhack, who has spent 36 years with ESPN, has been hired to be Syracuse's next AD. His last day at ESPN is July 28.
