I think we can all agree that UNT has stepped up in financing athletics. The IPF is a 50% match by UNT would be one example. Like you mentioned in your last paragraph athletic success brings value to the degree through recognition of the university.

2016 we were ranked 11th in conf and 115 natl . Now we are 9th a 19% increase and 100th which is a 15% increase. 2016 we had 6, 3* and now 11 that is a 55% increase. This seems like a strong step in the right direction. This is the largest 3* class that I can remember by a long shot. I am still looking forward to some late signees?

Do you judge based on C-USA rankings or Nat'i Rankings or how many more additional 3* we sign? If you look at the class so far as a whole it is a solid improvement over the last 2 years. Hope we find a few more Michael Lawerence type players. I still think a big negative for us at this time is the IPF (is about $700,000 short) and the weight room. How are you going to make me a better player with limited facilities on the development side? I hope the student fee passes and we can get started on the IPF SOON!

He played some D-line as a junior? Maybe?

Yea and who was our leading receiver last year. A walk on! If we can’t get HS D-Lineman then we better start developing them through PWO and redshirts.

The more 3* players we have the odds are better to find that player or players who will have an impact. We had only 6 3* last year compared to 8 3* signed or committed this year. If we can end this year like the last two years and find those gems could be a really good class! GMG

Never in the ballpark for this guy, he wanted another P5. Last year we got 6 3* players, so far this year we have 8 signed or committed. We did great last year when we got some studs a few days before signing. Let’s hope it happens this year!

BYU and most of the Utah schools has worked out pretty well. He would of red shirt out of High school now he will red shirt 2 years later. This staff can evaluate talent! Congrats to all! GMG
