Breaking: KD Davis Tore ACL During Frisco Bowl
Jonnyeagle replied to TheReal_jayD's topic in Mean Green Football
I’m sorry @UNTLifer and all due respect but just because he isn’t a high round NFL draft choice diesnt mean the coaches and fans like yourself should have pressured him to play in a meaningless bowl game. -
Super sad news. Hate to see our own coaches steal our guys
-
I wish the best for Jennings but he has the most pressure on him. I think our secondary is in really bad shape.
-
Great idea!!
-
I agree. We need to be tougher on ourselves if we want to get better.
-
Look forward to your updates. Is the weather pretty cold?

S-T Faulkner - CUSA Fall Spirit of Service Award
Jonnyeagle replied to El Paso Eagle's topic in Mean Green Football
Happy for Sean but in my opinion I feel like a player should be at UNT for more than a couple of years to be eligible for these type of awards. -
No way screw that. Dude has been dead 100 years. I respect what he did but he brings no value today whatsoever.

Ward transfers to Pac-12 school Another local graduate bet on himself and went halfway across the country to do it. Columbia graduate Cam Ward announced his transfer from the University of Incarnate Word to Washington State University on the night of the FBS national championship game. Ward, who lit the world on fire with the San Antonio school for two years, followed the only Division I football coach to offer him a scholarship in Eric Morris to a program entrenched in the late Mike Leach’s air-raid offense. Ward, a quarterback of a Wing-T offense at Columbia, exited the transfer portal at Pullman as a four-star recruit and was named to several prestigious lists. Ward finished the season with 3,231 passing yards, 21st in the nation, completing 320 of 497 passes for 23 touchdowns and nine interceptions. He led the Cougars to a 3-0 record to start the season, including an upset win against No. 19 Wisconsin at Camp Randall Stadium. The Cougars finished 7-6 and made a bowl game appearance. read more: https://thefacts.com/sports/commentary-change-was-common-theme-in-2022/article_78b7d79b-63dd-575e-b429-16cdc1dc6057.html

North Texas and new head coach Eric Morris are set to hire Bryan Kegans as their new head strength coach, per Brett Vito of the Denton Record-Chronicle in Texas. Kegans served this season as the associate director of football sports performance at USC. He previously spent time at Guyer High School in Denton. Bryan Kegans came to USC in January of 2022 as associate director of football sports performance. He spent the previous four seasons (2018-21) at Oklahoma, where he was assistant director of sports performance/director of sport science. The Sooners won the Big 12 title in 2018, 2019 and 2020, and made a pair of College Football Playoff semifinal appearances in 2018 and 2019. Kegans was an offensive lineman and special teams player for four years (2002-05) at Texas Tech, starting at guard as a 2005 senior. read more: https://trojanswire.usatoday.com/2022/12/28/usc-associate-director-of-sports-performance-leaves-for-north-texas-mean-green/
