there is excitement from the young fans. I graduated last year and this is the first time I have ever seen recent graduates everywhere at tailgate. Usually once people graduate I don't see them until homecoming but the bowl season got a lot of people excited. Look for the away side to be full all year long.

I have a good feeling a lot of people in the area will be tuned in. I know that when I was in high school I used to watch college football all day and if there were 2 local teams playing at 11 am that's the game that I'd be watching. Now if this was a night game competing with sparty and Oregon I can admit that back In high school the Safeway bowl would not be on at my house. Glad I can see the light now. GMG

You can be suspicious, that's your right. I'll continue to call them my brothers because that's what they are to me. I'm also grateful for your service but the 2 marines who tailgate with me have no problem calling their fraternity their family as well. I didn't got through that stuff with me sisters or parents but I call them my family too.

greek life was a positive thing for myself as well. Many of my brothers are connected still because of UNT football and for that I'm grateful. Continue believing what you want.

They have recruitment, I heard they will not be attending. I was very disappointing but figured its a battle I can't win. I know the majority of them might only tailgate but there are still plenty of girls who always go to the games and this seems like poor planning.

I've only done it one time and there were a few people out there, we got a warning from the cops for drinking since it wasn't game day. It's not all that great but I'm considering it so I can just wake up there and start tailgating.

They told me before I bought my recent alumni tickets that there will be plenty of beer on the student side too.

Camping out is still a possibility for me but if not I'll be in the parking lot with a drink in my hand by 6.
