So, yes, SMU happened and it was gut wrenching to see our offense be shut down the way they were. Do you think that with all the award watchlist and Heisman talk for Mason that he put an extreme amount of pressure on himself to perform at a higher level? Therefore with this loss, do you think he recovers and just focuses on the game? I’m not saying that it DID get to his head but rather IF.

So what happened? Well besides the 4-5 pass interferences against #39 Moore, we were out coached. It was known that we could pass very well, so put your top new athlete on our top receiver. We got out coached, but I still believe in Littrell and Fine. This could have been a great thing for the team and coaches to wake up from some hype. As for Reeder, I’m not convinced, I didn’t see a lot of TE passes Or uptempo. Beat Cal and show us what we are, Mean Green!!

Yeah I never heard any more of the QB for Rice after they took him out on a stretcher. Anyone else hear if it’s serious or not?

I’ve been looking across the scoreboard from last week and I think our defense will be just fine. UC Davis put up 13 on Cals top rated defense. SFA put up 17 on Baylor Northern Iowa put up 26 on a ranked Iowa State. The key is obviously our offense keeping the pressure on, I believe that we win 45-30.

Line has moved to 3 points from the original 4.5.

It was my sons first birthday last Saturday and couldn’t make the game, does anyone at the game feel that we held back some tempo and scheme for this game and the next few? Perhaps SMU did as well but I wonder if we press the pedal a bit more.

My guess, it’s a motivation to the players to light the tower green every game. (They should see this coming from the locker room.)

Didn’t TCU a few years ago have a similar situation bc they couldn’t get a prototypical LB? So they adjusted with speed up front for lack of size...I may be wrong on this. Side note: Didn’t hear much about Jaxson Gibbs in off-season but he’s listed as a backup.

I’m going to predict that Fine goes in the 2nd round.
