Look I get it...it blows we lost! Sutton blew us up for the 2nd year in a row! He will be gone after this year and that honestly pretty much evens out this game! Meanwhile UTSA is beating Baylor.

We passed much more than I have seen since Dodge was the head coach. Fine had a lot of great throws and one of the interceptions was just dumb luck for SMU. Wilson didn't have but 13 rushes the entire game..I think as much as I literally hate this loss, that we did...OK.

I'm bored watching this UT/Cal game, been having a few beers. I for some crazy reason have this feeling that the season is not going to go well like some on this board. However, I'm wondering if this is all on purpose to keep D. Smith hidden until Tennessee....a highly recognized team and wouldn't have any tape for Smith. If we somehow won that game and finished perhaps with 3 straight wins, do you see Mccarney sticking around? Or even that we finish strong in recruiting?

I don't post much, but with everybody talking of coaches and athletic directos getting fired, what would the group think of bringing Sonny Cumbie in from TCU as a head coach or maybe a offensive coordinator? Just a thought

I know that I am not a normal poster but, #1 is a great idea! Look at FC Dallas, they have had this for quite a few years and they have gone from just standing to room to stands now. Also, I know some on here are against Greek life but I remember when I was attending UNT we one week had Johnny Jones come in and speak to us about a Spirit stick. The spirit idea isn't so much for the wing as it is just getting Coach McCarney in to try and create some excitement from the Greeks for atleast one, maybe two home games a year.

So with Demarco Murray appearing to leave Dallas for Philly, any thoughts on a replacement or does LD get bumped up? Thoughts?
