I grew up a UT fan and have changed into a UNT fan ever since I started going there. I can tell you this much, I always hated Aggie, Sooner, and Red Raider fans. I found them to be annoying and obnoxious. But, I have never seen a fan base as falsely entitled and arrogant as the SMU fans. Never thought I'd see the day where I found fans worse than A&M fans, but that day has arrived.

I'm officially making it known that I'm on the Jeff Capel bandwagon. I think he would be a terrific coach for UNT. Only concern is if he found success here, have no doubt he would jump ship quickly to move back into the larger ranks.

I have a feeling the new men's coach will be someone that none of us have even thought about.

Tony has no option BUT to accept the awards. Everyone that says differently is a clueless dumba**. Tony put his heart and soul into the team and this season. There is no shame at all in being named to the all-conference team. Would you expect Dirk to turn down being named to the All-NBA 1st team if the Mavs didn't win the championship that year? You need to think about the competitive balance of the markets though. Nothing to do in San Marcos on a Saturday where as here in the Metroplex, there is sooo much happening. Just pointing this out. And I swear to God dude the "UNT barely drew more than TxState while in a new stadium" bit has been way overplayed by you. You've mentioned it at least 5 times on this board. We get it.
