Pretty interesting watch about the worst G5 teams since the 2000s. I was watching and sweating bullets hoping not to see North Texas' Todd Dodge teams.😂 I was a fresh grad and season ticket holder those first two Dodge years. BRUTAL losses, but fun offenses.

Performances like this on national TV is why SMU PAID to be in another conference away from us. We have a deep cultural problem from top to bottom, this game or Portland State doesnt happen anywhere else.

We have an upper half American Conference offense with a Lower half Conference USA Defense. Chandler Morris arm should get us over the .500 hump though.

I have an NIL t shirt idea someone can steal. Since our leaders A.Scott and Rubin are from the Houston area and Coach's name is Hodge. A shirt with them and "Boss Hodge Outlaws" would be cool. A play on the "Boss Hogg Outlawz" group from Houston.

We took some major Ls in the Dodge era but I always loved this font on white.

I'm rooting for Stone, just on the cool name alone, but assume the starter would be Rodgers based on what he did at ULM and he plays like previous Coach Morris QB starters. Seeing Ruder actually IN game, I'm not sure that he has the mental fortitude to be a starter, open to be wrong but he looked like a deer in headlights in the past.

What happened to the side of his face? Pretty red over there.

A. Those fans message boards don't complain about the script like we did. B. its just script, only difference is they have it outlined in white. C. I just don't remember most wanting anything to do with it. Many seem to think it was our absolute worst helmet. Again, I'm just trying to make sure I'm not missing anything, it just never fully added up to me.
