I have never had any bad reactions wearing UNT gear. I am a student so I never get any reactions wearing on school or around campus. But when I go back home (Victoria which is 330 miles south of Denton) I always get good hearted comments. I was wearing my Sun Belt basketball championship shirt around our family friends (husband went to Kentucky, wife went to WKU) and we talked about how we are getting really good a basketball. Around my friends who go to other schools there is always trash talking going back and forth, being a UNT fan you have to learn to take and give a joke. Then there is my "grandpa" who went to A&M Kingsville, thinks he went to A&M and refuses to recognize other schools besides A&M.

BYU's. My favorite color is dark blue, and to me their jerseys are very clean and simple looking. I hate when jerseys look tacky by trying to do too much (this might be the baseball fan in me talking).

I know I am in the minority when I say this, but I really don't like green helments. To me the green helments make the jerseys look too cluttered, I prefer the clean look of a white helment.

Wow, this website is 15 years old...I was five when it started- you guys should feel old haha. I'm a student right now at UNT and I look forward to posting and reading Mean Green news here for the next 15 years and beyond. I'm proud to be part of the Mean Green family, thanks guys.

Not every school in the WAC is a stand out that can move up to better conferences. Bosie State was and now they are in the MWC, the hope is for proponents of moving to the WAC is that North Texas can be the next Bosie.

I guess CUSA does not see La Tech as having the potential to take it to the next level. I would like to think that UNT could surpass La Tech.

I actually see this as in favor of jumping to the WAC because it shows that the WAC has the potential to catapult teams to the next level.
