Am I the only one that thinks this schedule sucks? Our only OOC home game is against Tx Southern? I predict our average attendance this season will drop substantially.

Whatever it is it needs to not have the words: Great, Grand, Good, Big, or Athletic because we don't want to misrepresent the truth.

When will we get out of the Sunbelt conference and why has it taken you this long?

I think this needs to be qualified with "vs. not being in a conference period" and even some of those would prob rather go independent. There are no D1 schools outside of possibly the WAC that desire this conference.

The only thing I like about this is this sentence, "(North Texas) is currently on the radar for Conference USA". Please Lord rescue us from the wasteland known as the SBC.

Please keep posting stuff like this. People are looking for a reason not to support UNT and this just fuels the fire.

This is a joke. We really are that desperate aren't we? Have we been so stagnate over the past 60 years that we are hoping to get into a conference with a school that started their football program 2 years ago? Here I am thinking that maybe we can move up and play some schools with some name recognition so we can attract a larger, more dedicated fan base....but nope we're hoping to get into a conference with two FCS schools 30 miles apart. Adding these two schools should be viewed as a step backwards and we can continue to expect 12k average attendance. I guess it's too much to ask (demand) that we aim a little higher?

Sure, if we don't ever want to progress into a school with recognition.

We clearly need size and have needed size for the past x number of seasons. What was the largest player we signed this year? 6'3"? A good or bad signing day shouldn't be based on stars alone but how we filled in the gaps in our team. Based on this I would say that it was another less than stellar signing day.

He was probably meeting with Sunbelt officials on how we can make this conference a dominant power house.... ...among the FCS.

I just cant understand how anyone would ever think the Sunbelt is a better option than any other conference. Hopefully RV doesn't feel the same.
