  1. Maybe you picked up that you were the one wearing the multiple bracelets? Do you also wear tank tops when you golf?
  2. I personally think the rubber bracelets are stupid on anyone older than 15. And when I see more than one on a person I can't help but think there is something wrong with them. I have seen as many as 10 on someone and question whether there is a little child inside a mans body. I also think the balance bracelets are equally as dumb and when I see people wearing those I can't help but think they were walking through the mall and had some 18 year old approach them, make them stand on one foot like an idiot while they push them around, then they proceed to purchase 2 for the price of one because they think its a miracle invention. I will say that the only thing that belongs on a mans wrist post 18 years of age is a watch.
  3. I just saw this and it made me sad. My wife was on the swim team and can attest that he is a great coach.
  4. Uhh...don't we need a field to play on before we start offering scholarships?
  5. I thought that's why we contributed to GMG.com. Lets get him out guys.
  6. Great......more of our old Sunbelt amigos. As we continue to add the likes of WKU and UTSA this conference becomes much more of a joke. Initially the CUSA might have been able to lure some of the MAC schools away (should they have wanted to), but now the only ones wanting in are SBC folks.
  7. Your whole point is stupid and your last sentence isn't correct. Please do your research before posting.
  8. Ha ha. No, not quite. But I'm sure this is what the UNT administration spun it as.
  9. I was an SAE on campus in 2002 and we got kicked off, and it was pretty painful. Since then I frequently drive through campus and I now see the reminisce of fraternities that once were: Sigma Nu, Lambda Chi, etc. I will say that greek life is such a big part of your college experience, especially for those that can't commute home every weekend. I'm sad to say that UNT continues to backhand the Greek organizations and this will no doubt drive down the desire to be involved. My cousin was pledging at Tx state the same time I was and they got hazed terribly and the university didn't do anything. I don't condone hazing but at some point the school needs to stop putting all the regulations in place. Incidentally, their lack of regulation is the reason they had 100+ members in their fraternities while UNT struggled with 40. Greek life really is a joke at UNT.
  10. This isn't football related so please feel free to move, but for the life of me I can't figure out why UNT takes one step forward and then 10 steps backward. It's hard enough to get Greek membership as it is and now this? What is our administration thinking? http://www.wfaa.com/news/education/unt-booze-190138321.html
  11. I would rather have them then some of the trash we picked up.
  12. Because being positive makes the pain seem less painful.
  13. Sadly, I think you're right. Sad, sad news.
  14. I hope they don't come to CUSA...that gives us a better chance to get a better school. I hope they're not holding out on a better offer from another conference.
  15. I wish you were an ex-GMG poster too. How can we make that happen?
  16. Maybe someone should persuade CUSA to kick out FIU, FAU, and UTSA and invite back the other schools that left for the BE.
