  1. Highly recruited by top programs. Of course, UNT never offered.
  2. What will become of the Daktronics video board at Fouts? Could it be sold to some high school or Junior College, with the funds used to help fund a new Super Pit video board. Surely we don't need the Fouts board for track meets?
  3. TCU will run over La Tech. Talk about a mismatch.
  4. You may want to try this site on the day of our game. If the game is picked up at all, the picture quality "may" be a little better. First Row Sports
  5. "And I agree 100% watching Tony reminded me of watching Booger Kennedy on the basketball court." I closed my eyes and tried to imagine this picture of Booger playing basketball at the Pit. Whoa!
  6. I'm not a structural engineer, and you could be correct. But with the advances in technology, weight shouldn't be a factor. Heck, a 46" LED TV only weighs 40-50 pounds.
  7. The storyline is.........SMU loses recruit to UTSA.
  8. You sure had me going. BTW, DePaul is a fine university.
  9. As I've said many times, most the players out of WO-Stark have speed and are hard hitters. I would love to get this young man up to Denton.
  10. Interesting to see if TCU - La Tech can draw more out in California.
  11. The ULL kicker redeemed himself in a big way. I think he missed one or two PAT's and one field goal. But he did make the one that counted.
  12. Damn, can we do a package deal? Leo and the gang?
  13. DaCarlos Renfro, West Orange Stark. We want this guy. All WOS players have speed and hit hard.
  14. Defensive tackle #1 - 6-4, 295 pounds, 4.9 forty. Defensive tackle #2 - 6-4, 295 pounds, 4.9 forty. Nose guard - 6-2, 300 pounds, 5.0 forty. Defensive tackle #3 - 6-5, 290 pounds, 4.8 forty. That is all.
  15. I don't know how "highly regarded" Scott Hall was coming out of high school, but I do remember how impressive he was in a semi-final game playoff game against Port Neches-Groves at Kyle field. He ran his teams offense very efficiently and his passing was usually dead on. Great long ball for a HS quarterback. Seriously, I thought to myself what a find he would be if UNT could get him. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised when it actually happened!
  16. I think if North Texas could present a three year plan to MWC or CUSA to add baseball, it would certainly help us to possible get into either of those conferences. We have to make ourselves as attractive as possible.
  17. Someone 'splain to me, what does it mean for North Texas?
  18. It's feasible that Tony Michell comes in as a one-man team, giving the other four starters a rest, with no dropoff in productivity.
  19. "ESPN.com reported that McElwain would sign a five-year contract with CSU, with an annual salary of $1.5 million a year — more than double the $700,000 a year the Rams were paying Steve Fairchild." Didn't know CSU could pay that kind of money.
  20. Great idea. But do we have the desire and leadership to make it happen? I'm not singling out UNT leadership either. I mean all the referenced institutions.
