    I thought our mantra was "the leading university of the metroplex"? This letter comes across as the younger brother trying to play with his older brothers. That said Dr Rawlins is pitching a perfect game at this point I will give him the benefit of the doubt and see how this plays out

    Yes, good idea. I would also like to see a contest (or make it part of a class assignment?) in the music school to come up with some original compositions to play. Then have the ranking football associate and band department rep choose a few winners. We have the talent and the means to really set us above everyone else.

    Um, we were at a football game, not a concert. It is about being loud and involved. And as far as myself and the group around me thought, it wasn't their band that sucked

    How come everytime an opposing team brings their band (normally with less members), they play louder, more often, and sometimes better song selections than ours? An honest question, but I'm sure someone will want to flame away FYI, I sit on the Alumni side and have for about 10 years...

    I think Dodge was showing confidence in him. He's the third string QB, and both QBs in front of him got hurt, if he doesn't play him it sends a message that he doesn't want to win and he doesn't think he is ready. I for one don't like his redshirt getting burned, but I understand why he did it.

    I don't understand why our corners give 8 yd cushions, or why Vizza doesn't have time to make more than one read, or why our return men miss holes, or why opposing bands are always louder than our band... What we need now is a slumpbuster

    Green glasses has nothing to do with it, it's the truth and if my memory serves me correct they refused to play us at Fouts after we beat them forcing us to play at Texas Stadium (i.e. shifting homefield advantage away from us)

    I think DMN was the one who hinted that Saban wouldn't given Applewhite enough control of the offense so he was leaving. Difference of philosophy perhaps?
