Being 25% of the way to the goal after day one is great. Especially, since we've never done this before. Like some of you I suspect a lot of students will wait until game day to get their tickets with some being turned away. BTW, no offense to Mr. Capper, but it would be a lot cooler if they gave RV or coach Mac a twitter page. It's not like they would have to write it themselves. Just appoint an SID to run it and get a quote a couple times a day. Who would know the difference?

I went to pick up my student ticket today at the Union and there was a steady stream of students picking up their tickets as well. Very encouraging!

Vito reported that he broke his non-snapping hand and would probably have to wear a cast. Should be back against either Bama or Indiana. I don't see the point in bringing him back vs. Bama. Give him another week and play him in a game we have a chance of winning

I've been telling people that FIU might become the Sun Belt's first top 25 team this year. I wish we could make a schedule like theirs, but instead we have @Houston, @LSU, and @KSU on the slate next year

They almost did last year and A&M's president is on record saying they wish they would have. UT does not want to go alone. They'll try to bring Tech with them so they'll have a travel partner and at least keep one rivalry intact.

Laugh if yall want, but This is a good move on their part. Not a lot of people have the longhorn network, but now more people will see there games than ours. It's sad, but true.

We might get better coverage if we were coming off a conference title and bowl win. And you can't really compare the two. I highly doubt Miami has as many alumni from different schools as DFW. Face it, until we start seriously winning we won't get any pub because no one outside of Denton cares.

If OU leaves, OK State is going with them. The same thing can be said with UT and Tech and I wouldn't be surprised if they all went together to the Pac-whatever. There's no way Mizzou, Kansas, and Kansas St. end up in a non-BCS conference. Look for them to go to the Big 10 or Big East. Hopefully, things get so messed up that the remaining D-1 schools in Texas besides UT, A&M, Tech, and TCU decide to form their own conference and add a few other schools like Tulsa, Southern Miss, or New Mexico. The more likely scenario is we just get picked up by the MWC or C-USA/ UNT can't really lose in a major change up. Sure, Super Conferences might form, but in the grand scheme of things we'll still be in the Sun Belt and on the outside looking in along with about 60 other schools. Sounds about how things are right now if you ask me.

I ate there earlier today and the food is actually better than the other cafeterias except Victory. However, I found it really annoying how they had all these quotes from people making it seem like vegeterianism is the answer to all the world's problems and that you are somehow a better person if you are a vegan. Yeah right...

Their numbers are outlined in gold and they have the Adidas logo on the collar. It's not a lot, but it makes them look better IMO.

Sorry, didn't really think about the math when I wrote that. What I meant was that there will be a lot of UH fans there (which is good), but we will outnumber them by a landslide.

If I had to guess I would say its going to be 70/30 in favor of UNT.
