I know some of you are expert tailgaters and sometimes camp out on Friday nights. Planning on doing that this week with some friends. We have reserved spots in the Blue lot and I always see RVs and such in there, but can you camp in that lot? How would they be able to manage parking passes the night before? Surely they don't post attendants at the gate that early. Any advice for overnight tailgating?

As a teenager, I rush the field just as an excuse to throw the football after the game. Against Indiana, it was to celebrate. But we a lot of other teenagers and younger kids in our neighborhood who enjoyed coming to the game to throw the football on the field, and now that they took that away from us, we try to take advantage of every chance we get.

I'm on the Marcus High wrestling team and we wrestled at Byron Nelson a couple of times. They are a fairly new school (opened in 2009 I think) but have some really great facilities. I don't know much about the football team but I do know they finished 4-6 in their first year of football this past season. I'm pretty sure they don't even have a senior class yet.

Alright, I saw a lot of positives in this game. And there were a lot of negatives too... But you gotta hand it to the D. They played really well, especially for how good of field position rice had to start every drive. The offense was not on its best game. They played really well against clemson and not so well against rice. We had two fumbles (Lance and Nathan), 1 Int, and a lot of dropped passes. But is any of that the coaches fault? No, Its the players' mistakes. So everyone needs to stop being so freaking negative about the coaching. If anyone messed up on coaching, it would be chico, because he didnt get the ball to lance enough, but not Dodge or Deloach. In my opinion, they both coached good games. And special teams..wasn't very good. But hey, we blocked a punt. Trent Deans made his PATs. We still have a lot to work on, but I think we have a good shot at Army. We just have to start strong and finish strong.

Ok, I am SICK of the negativity on this board! I am SICK of hearing " Fire Dodge!" We lost this game not because of Todd Dodge, in fact almost all of our losses were not because of TD. We lost this game because of simple mistakes by the PLAYERS not the coaches. Riley was making very poor choices out there and we weren't holding onto the football.We lost this game because we can't finish. But that is a big improvement because we used to lose games because we just couldn't compete. These players have been competing all year. And don't try to tell me otherwise! We worked on competing this year and next year we work on finishing. And last, for those of you who repeatedly say your done with North Texas Football until TD is fired and those who didn't come to the game because they are done with UNT football, you are not a North Texas fan. Not a true one at least. No matter what happens, how the teams doing, if -50 and raining, I will go to the games because I love UNT football. That is a true fan.

One of the best posts i've seen all year! You are 100% correct. We could easily be 6-4 right now if we could just FINISH but unfortunately we don't know how to do that just yet but we are getting better. I never worry when we are losing by 20 or less, its when we are winning by 10 or less that I worry about. Give TD some time and mostly give these players some time, not everyone has to be so dang negative on this board. If North Texas limits mistakes, gets the lead early, and keeps their heads high and holds on to the lead, we will win this game! GO MEAN GREEN! TANK ARMY!
