I saw with my own 2 eyes.... what Kansas State did to us. I would say that LSU can cover the 42 on Kansas State...if they wanted to. I really like the part you said about the "If y'all play flawless defense then I think y'all will cover the spread!" Please just treat the UNT fans that do make the journey to Baton Rouge well... That is all I ask.

I'm thinking we should go by the "very nice" green...or the "very accomodating" green...or something to that effect. I'm not sure we should be allowed to be referred to as the "mean" green until the team somewhat resembles that... especially when our flags spell out M-A-E-N after our meaningless 4th quarter scores... Regional matchups are a must to keep hosting. The tulsa fans I met were very pleasant. I imagine that we probably treated Tulsa fans better than I was treated by a select few K-staters weekend before last...

This has been a discouraging start...no doubt. A new coach should atleast be given the time to get his first recruiting class into upper classman status... his guys in his system for 2 solid years before you should expect positive results on the field. If we start next season off like this one, I will be running out of material to sell my wife on season tickets continuation for dodge's 4th year.... In my opinion, the 3rd season is where you should really be counting wins and losses. To date, progress is hard to detect, which is not helping my optimism. Lets hope another year of this d-coordinator will help that side of the ball.... lots of young guys there.

I'm staying at the hotel with the players in Kansas... we just say the finally of the first quarter.... hahahahaha.... f-em The weekend is off to a good start.

OK, called and the answer is that we would be ticketed on Friday before 3:30... but they said that if we stopped by the UNT Police Dept at Eagle and Kendolph and explained what we were doing, we could get a complimentary Visitor pass that would cover you during the day Friday. Some friends from around dfw and I are driving to Manhattan next weekend, and I wanted to ask a question... It makes the most sense for us to all meet in Denton and consolidate cars for the journey north on 35. Can we park in the Fouts parking lot for Friday thru Sunday or would we get towed?

I saw on the Kansas State board that the point spread has been set at 25... As I recall, this isn't very much more than the spread for the SMU game last year... Twill be interesting to see how the line moves as we get closer... This is a very difficult matchup to assess... UNT in its second year with new coaching staff(new d-coord of course), and KSU didn't finish very well at all last year and bringing in all those JUCO's. Lots of moving parts.

I'm not that old, but I might be at risk for a heart attack if we have Ms Miller in her b-day suit and stadium talk all at the same time...

The world is full of front runners... I have a couple of friends that are alumni of the sweet clean UNT. One is a die hard Notre Dame fan...and the other is a Tollway-t-sip. They don't want to waste their time giving to a cause that could help build something... They just want to ride the bandwagon of a well established program... and somehow that gives them bragging rights or whatever... We give our t-sip friend grief, and his response is...."yeah well, letme know when UNT can compete for a national championship..." He is one of those confusing people that wears that god-awful burnt orange out to homecoming and never goes into the games... vomit.

Great pick... seriously. I wouldn't have thought about that, but considering the number of times we went for it on 4th inside the opponent's 30 yardline... instead of kicking the field goal. could be a huge difference. I would personally pick horton. maybe I'm just really hoping, but this guy just looks awsome on paper. couldn't get on the field much at auburn...but man, he just looks like a monster just waiting to get a chance....
