i agree, and personally i dont think NO would have had as a good a shot if JJ didnt call the TO, with only 2 secs on the clock and NO having no TO's he should have just allowed them to throw the ball in and have to chuck it up bc they wouldnt have had a set play to get that good of a shot off

i think its great to see that we get to disagree who the 2 best seniors were on a team that has won so many titles, when really the true winner is UNT that we will get to see both of them play and mature into even better athletes

I think the best thing about Dr. B is the amount of improvements she has made in such a short time. She hasnt even been here a year and has already done great things. I really like how she is doing her tour throughout the country and also holding times when the students can talk to her directly. Glad to have Dr. B as our president!!!

how big is that, getting the replay monitor on teh sideline so it didnt cost us another game, big win tonight

this looks like a really good hire to me.....with the offensive side of the ball TD might be looking for coaches who already have experience with the spread offense, so the learning curve wont be as great for them

i think any player that records 240 tackles in one season in the top division of football in texas can play for us any day.....great signing and cant wait for the coming weeks to see which other players join the resurgance of Mean Green Football!!!!

what about players from Coppell? i would think after having that high octane offense that some of those players should be getting looks from colleges

i just wanted to let everyone know that the Mean Green nation is spreading throughout the country. i am a freshman at UNT and am home for the christmas break. after watching the Mavs beat the sonics i was with some friends at a burger place and was aproached by two women who saw my North Texas sweatshirt. one said she was an alum and the other said she had a brother graduating this year and was excited about all the improvements they have heard about there. i think its great to run into alums so far from campus who still love the school....just wanted to share this with everyone

i cant wait to watch the bowl games with Troy and MTSU in them because i know the announcers will mention the TD hire, which will just give us more publicity

i think the school is going to keep kelly green as the main one, at freshman orientation the shirts were kelly green and when ever going into the store it seems there are alot more kelly green then forest green clothing

yea i have to agree i see more UNT gear on campus then anything else

i agree with this 100%, she has been doing great things for UNT and it looks like it will only continue

what about something like: "Here come the Mean Green, riding in their new DODGE for 2007" and then on the back they could put the schedule for 2007 on it to add i also think they need to start making some shirts come January to help the excitment start early with the student body

i think a welcoming BBQ is a great idea, but i also think we should take it a step more and at the first home basketball game after winter break Dodge should be brought out at halftime and help get the crowd excited

i also dont see it as a knock, if these athletes are good enough to make a D1 roster then they should be able to learn the Dodge style of offense

the more people talk about Dodge the more i seem to like him, i also feel that his hire would create a huge buzz around the state and might even get some national exposure due to success of the SLC football team

for the pit crew will there ever be any meetings to help organize stuff, if not ill show up to that Jan 11 game and join that section

i agree if we could get some of thsoe boosters people up here at UNT we could make the MEAN GREEN seen all over the country. This slogan is unique to this university and would be great to get it out on the national stage

i agree with this 100%, and to add making this hire would make national news bc Southlake is known nationally and i know ESPN would talk about it, also i remember seeing on another post about Dodge being a coach for the high school all star game, well that would bring us more publicity bc the announcers would talk about what a great hire it was and would get our name out there to everyone
