Fortenberry is joining as a grey shirt

I didn't see a topic started about him so I thought I'd start one. I talked to Era coach Jason Fanning today about OL Avery Fortenberry. Fanning said that Fortenberry will be signing with UNT on Wednesday. He's the younger brother of Aaron Fortenberry. He stands 6-5, 250 and has room to grow. He was an all-county, all-district player as you imagine for Class 1A Era. I'll try to post more info about him when I get it.

I talked to Muenster coach Brady Carney (a UNT grad btw) today about Andy. He said he Andy is joining UNT as a preferred walk on. Flusche was a pretty good tight end in high school, too. He frequently dunks before basketball games. He is extremely athletic for his size. Look for him to work his way up in his career.

Yea SFA vs. SHSU is only an 87 year rivalry, SHSU is expected to contend for a national title and it was held in Reliant Stadium. It's crazy to think that a non-conference game between two mediocre teams couldn't top that.

I saw Rice played in front of a whopping 731 people in its CIT game today against Drake. At least they are out drawing SMU.
