    Well yea Quincy Williams, Rich Young and the rest of the crew shined but Watson's 3-point prowess will always stand out in my mind.

    Calvin Watson had a chance to step up with Davis out and really took off. That still might be my favorite team to come through the Super Pit.

    It should be noted that all five of our commits on Rivals have 5.4 ratings, meaning they are 0.1 away from being a three star on their ratings system. If those same players committed to BCS schools, no doubt they would have been rated three stars. Rating systems are as much about who offers them and who they commit to as much as the players' talents.

    That's odd. My ex (georgraphy major) and I both graduated in 2009 and we were hounded by calls only months after crossing the stage.

    If they are such a thing of the past, then why are so many people up in arms on here that UNT was left out? I mean nobody reads them anyways, right?

    Yea screw the DMN and the tousands of jobs associated with it because they left us out of a fluff piece that I wouldn't have read anyways.

    I cover them for their local newspaper. Two really talented girls who will only get better. UNT got a steal with these two.

    This would be funny if not for the fact that Ben Gooding is likely to take you serious.

    I think the lesson learned in this situation is that Ben Gooding should layoff Twitter and quit harrassing our players and recruits. It really is embarassing.

    Kingwood was annexed by Houston a little while back but the high school is part of Humble ISD. It's like The Woodlands. It's part of Conroe ISD but you'll almost always just see it as The Woodlands.

    Just got word that Kingwood's Brooke Jolivette has committed to UNT. She was a first-team All-District 13-5A selection this year and averaged 12.8 PPG and 4.6 rebounds per game.

    A lot of players post stuff like that to get recognition from their peers. It doesn't always mean a whole lot.
