  1. No black, only as an accent color. Outline the numbers, the logo (which I wish was on the helmet) or any lettering in black, but the primary colors should be our green and white.
  2. Only if it secured someone's vote.
  3. Unfortunately, I am obviously not wording my thoughts correctly. Honestly, I hope he ends up here and don't mean to come across as complaining. Carry on and I will sit down and keep quiet.
  4. I agree, it is an important decision but he appears to have a rather high opinion of himself.
  5. I don't think anyone is questioning that, but it ks the manner in which it is being either conducted or portrayed. He appears to be a little self centered in all of this. Hope that is how he is being portrayed.
  6. This is why Whitfield really excited me coming out of high school. I love how his shoulders are always square with the line of scrimmage, and he is continually moving forward. Great, great speed equals a gamebreaker. Lewis is my sleeper from this year's class.
  7. Only play McNulty in an emergency situation. If it is one series of the last game of the season, then play Dodson, Jones, Teegarden, Feldt... anybody but McNulty.
  8. If D.Q. Johnson can become the "Texas Stop Sign" at one corner, then we have 4 excellent JUCO's on our team. But for everyone that succeeds, it seems there are a number like Alonzo Horton.
  9. McNulty should be redshirted. We have Thompson and Osborn and even Dodson. Whether McNulty stays at QB or to moved elsewhere, he deserves the chance to mature physically and mentally allowing the game to slow down for him as a QB or to learn a new position.
  10. I've got nothing against JUCO's, but only to fill needs here and there. Loading up is the wrong way to go, as I would limit it to maybe one or two per class. The Troy method of loading up is a disaster waiting to happen and may finally be catching up to them.
  11. The combined population of Baton Rouge (ULL doesn't deliver this market), Lafayette and Lake Charles (McNeese) is slightly larger than Arlington, TX. In 2007, the population of the DFW Metroplex was 1,240,499, and we have as many alumni living in the area as there are citizens of Lafayette, LA. I understand his frustration, and they have great fans, but I would bet ULL doesn't deliver a 1/10 of the Baton Rouge (229,493) population.
  12. I wish them well, but thank goodness we are out of the Sun Belt and away from Karl Benson. I feel for ULL, ASU, MTSU, etc...
  13. My goodness. When will you all realize that GL2Greatness is all knowing, all powerful and never, ever wrong. Respond to his posts and feel his wrath, because everyone is wrong and he is always correct. Don't take my word for it, just read through his responses that make Plumm's posts look like Cliff Notes.
  14. , Maybe he is proud of those "straw, beer cap covered cowboy hat crowd appeasing anthems. "
  15. GL2Greatness='s I am always correct and will beat you over the head with stats since I have nothing bettee to do with my life.
  16. To answer the title to this thread, yes we should. The majority of the rest of this thread is a total beating.
  17. RV is staying. He doesn't want to deal with douche bags like GL2Greatness on a daily basis at SMUt- University Park.
  18. Oh darn. You mean we won't be subjected to one tooth wonders yelling obscenities at is in Death Valley, tee shirt fans that rolled out of the swamp to cheer for their team or wins against them in basketball? The only one I will miss is the win in basketball. Let them whine.
  19. What is your stance on acting in self-defense? What about your's, CBL?
  20. I think it depends. If a program takes in a "trouble maker" and allows him to continue with his antics while looking the other way, then I would think they would be looked down upon. If the player cleans up his act, or if the team lays down the law, then I think everything is forgiven. Sometimes we all forget that alot of these are 18, 19 or 20 year olds that are away from home for the first time. Raise your hand if you didn't do anything stupid or have a little fun once you left home.
