  1. Please tell who has Ramon recruited. My friends in the AD department say that he is the laziest coach when it comes to recruiting that we have.
  2. IT is true, RAMON DOES NOT RECRUIT!!!!!!! Another thing that is unacceptable. GOTTA GO, WOMENS BASKETBALL
  3. Rv extended Darrels contract and gave him the guarantee because he was pressured by the board of regents (specifically Bobby Ray). By the way, the way the contract is structured we can afford to buy him out. The guarantee is not paid in a lump sum but is spread over time.
  4. Ask Nick if Darrel attended practice today. The fact is he walked out at the end, blew his whistle and motioned the team into 2 minute drill. It was the first practice in three days he actually talked to the team after practice.
  5. Bazmom You and I have had conversations in the past. I think Nick is an excellent kid and I know he has led by his example in the classroom. He is one of the best placekickers we have ever had at this university. I hope when he graduates he will tell you the real story about how DD shows up late for practices, doesn't attend all of practice, sometimes is "out of it" at practice, and the overall disorganized zoo that is North Texas Football right now.

  8. 45 points, highest beginning line this year. I thought we would be reading N/C for non competitive. 45 is so not enough!!!!!!
  9. Regardless of what other coaches make. How many people on this board actually make more than the 220 base that DD Makes. Plus all of the performance incentives his package is well over 300k. I always tell people that I work with, if you don't like what you make here, you can always go get another job. Who is hiring Darrel Dickey? Money paid to coaches is not an excuse, especially when you are being compensated as much as a small cap publicly traded company CEO. IMO
  10. We cannot win OOC games when we take the same game plan in with athletes that are slightly inferior in some positions. We do not have the ability with this coaching staff to "outcoach" other teams.
  11. Reality 1. We do not make our kids go to class. 2. Our team has no discipline. (penalties) 3. After 4 straight conf. championships you reload, not rebuild. 4. Recruiting has been terrible. 5. The coach is not good with donors. 6. The coach bashes supporters. 7. New athletic center, turf, weightroom, academic center, video equipment, offices for coaches, state of the art meeting rooms = bad recruiting, bad grades 8. The teams record. 9. The teams record at the end of the year. 10. 85-0 score in Baton Rouge 11. No progress in other areas than just win loss; ie grades, discipline 12. Athletic director works butt of to get tools, football coaches don't use tools. Please refute any of these points, Please!!!!!!!
  12. Anybody notices that Bobby Ray's grandson is now listed on the basketball roster. Now Bobby is in Johnnys business too!!!!!!
  13. DD has created an environment of his team against everybody. He doesn't realize that after 4 years of some success we could be on his side. You hear him preach about the lack of support he gets. "HE KNOWS, HE WORKS HERE EVERYDAY" These kids are young men that need direction. The only direction they are getting from there leader is down, down, down.
  14. I know of no other coach in the nation that has a drink "bitch" standing beside him at all times with ice in one hand and a can of drink in the other hand. O wait, I guess four "rings" and you the earn the right to be a pretentous %$*$, to not address your public when you lose. 3 year guaranteed contract makes you act differently doesn't it!!!

  16. If there is a coaches show, why don't a bunch of you guys show up at Hooters in Denton on Monday. I will buy the first pitcher and we can all stare at the guy responsible for flushing 5 years of progress.
  17. Freshmen and sophs are playing because we don't make our kids go to class. A better question is how many kids that could be contributing but are gone because of grades? We have to make the football coach accountable. Rebuilding is an excuse. In this conference we should never be able to use rebuilding as an excuse. Recruit kids that can pass, that want to go to school, and will be there to contribute. Joey Byerly is sorry. He let his teamates down, and he let everyone who donates money for scholarships down. Any kid who flunks out is donating a portion of our donations to Mean Green Club down the drain. IMO!!!!!!

The only good that can come from a loss like this is that Bobby Ray has to look in the mirror and realize his boy can't coach a seventh grade football team. 4 straight conference championships and no one will hire DD? 4 straight conference championships and nobody will hire the wunderkind Ramon Flanigan? It is going to be interesting to see how after the season shakes out. The best thing for long term future of this program is 2-9 or 3-8. Then we can move on. The sad thing is the Sun Belt is so bad we could run the table. ULaLa beats middle!!!! Arkansas State and Florida Atlantic 3-0 in overtime? It is possible that the only road block is UL Monroe to 5th straight championship. The we have to go through one more year of this crap, being non competitive outside our conference.
  19. We did not recruit a punter, we relied on a quarteback that did not go to class, our d-line that could have helped us flunked out, and we were exposed tonight
  20. If each of you guys bought 2 tickets, then the odds could be 16/320 or doubling your chances. All of the money goes directly to the Mean Green Club.
